It's almost 11:30 pm , meaning that my shift here at Jumbo mall is almost over, thankfully. I've been waiting the whole day to go home and sleep, I feel like I haven't gotten any sleep these past few days now and it's starting to show as this is the fifth customer today who complained about about a mixed up order. "Hey, Bree, you done here for tonight go home." I spin around to see my boss, Tahereh, " But...but my shift doesn't end for another 5 minutes." She rolls her eyes before saying ," If you keep working like this we won't have any customer by the end of the week. So go home and rest, we all know you need it." I'm about to say something when I catch a glimpse of Gabriel, on of my coworkers face, it's a mix of sympathy and concern which makes me sick to my stomach. I hate it, I hate how everyone who sees me looks at me with their sympathetic faces, it makes me so angry and annoyed. "Fine , but I will be here tomorrow for my shift ." I dont even let her say anything else before I walk off to the back of the shop to get my things. 1809 , the pin to my locker and to everything else, as I opened my locker I cant help but look at the locker full of roses, I cant help but think that if I was the one who died, would they put flowers in my locker to and I cant help but wonder if she ever regretted saving my life.
