Team Gaim is dancing in the middle of Zawame City as a crowd watches them, with Kouta dancing alongside the others.

A hooded figure wearing a black skull-mouth mask walks past the group without paying much attention to them.

Narrator: Zawame City. A city where Beat Riders have become celebrities, Lockseeds are sold like toys, and people have no idea what is truly growing beyond the city.

The hooded figure continues walking.

Narrator: But among the humans of this city lives someone who doesn't belong here.

The figure stops for a moment and looks back at Team Gaim.

???: ...They're certainly energetic.

He turns around and continues walking.

Narrator: His name is Fennex.

Fennex POV

Me(thoughts): At least, that's what I was called before coming here.

I continue walking through the city, keeping my hands in my pockets as I pass by the people around me.

Me(thoughts): I wasn't born in Zawame.

Me(thoughts): I wasn't even born in the human world.

A brief flashback shows Helheim Forest.

Me(thoughts): I was born in Helheim.

The scene shifts to a group of Yggdrasil researchers exploring Helheim.

Me(thoughts): I don't remember exactly how long I lived there before they found me.

The researchers suddenly stop as they see Fennex hiding behind a tree.

Researcher: What... is that?

Fennex stares at them.

Me(thoughts): They were the first humans I'd ever seen.

One of the researchers raises a weapon.

Researcher: Don't move!

Me(thoughts): They were afraid of me.

Another flashback shows Takatora arriving and looking at Fennex.

Me(thoughts): Then Takatora Kureshima arrived.

Takatora looks at Fennex for several seconds.

Takatora: Lower your weapons.

Researcher: But sir-

Takatora: I said lower them.

The researchers reluctantly lower their weapons.

Takatora walks closer to Fennex.

Takatora: What are you?

Fennex stares at him.

Me(thoughts): I didn't know what he meant.

Me(thoughts): I only knew that he was the first human who looked at me like I was something other than a monster.

The flashback fades.

Present day.

I stop at a street corner and pull out my phone.

My phone begins ringing.

Me: ...Takatora.

I answer.

Me: What is it?

Takatora: I need you at the Yggdrasil facility.

Me: Now?

Takatora: Immediately.

Me: What's happening?

Takatora: We have a problem in Helheim.

I look toward the city.

Me: Understood.

I hang up and put my phone away.

Me(thoughts): I suppose my afternoon plans are cancelled.

I walk into an alleyway.

Me(thoughts): At least I won't need this anymore.

I reach up and remove the skull-like mask from my face.

My human disguise begins disappearing, revealing my fennec ears, fur, and tail.

Me: Much better.

I open a nearby Yggdrasil access point and step through the Helheim portal.

Helheim Forest

I step out of the portal and look around.

Me: Home sweet home.

I hear the sounds of fighting in the distance.

Me: ...And apparently I picked a good time to arrive.

I run toward the fighting.

I eventually reach a clearing.

Kamen Rider Zangetsu is fighting Kamen Rider Gaim.

Kaito stands nearby, watching the fight.

Takatora: Fennex!

I look toward him.

Me: You called?

Takatora: Help me.

I reach into my pocket and pull out a Fox Wisp.

Me: Alright.

I hold the Fox Wisp in front of me.

The Wisp opens, revealing the face of a fox inside.

My Foxfire Driver begins to manifest around my waist.

The first tail-shaped section opens.

Gaim looks toward me.

Gaim: Another Rider?!

Kaito: That's not a Sengoku Driver...

I grip the lever on the side of my Driver.

Me: Guess you'll have to figure it out.

I pull the lever.

Foxfire erupts around me.
