Chapter Two: The Great Flood and Salvation
When the Ark was finally complete, Allah's command arrived. The skies opened up with torrential rain, and water gushed from the earth. The water levels rose rapidly, turning the land into a vast ocean.
Noah loaded the believers onto the Ark, alongside pairs of every kind of animal to preserve life.
Dialogue 3: Noah and His Son
Noah (Calling out desperately as the waves rise): "O my son! Embark with us and be not with the disbelievers!"
The Son (Arrogantly): "I will betake myself to a mountain that will save me from the water!"
Noah: "There is no protector today from the decree of Allah except the one on whom He has mercy!"
Right at that moment, a massive wave came between them, and the son was among the drowned.
Dialogue 4: After the Flood
The Ark floated safely over the gigantic waves. Eventually, Allah commanded the skies to stop and the earth to swallow its water. The Ark came to rest safely on top of Mount Judi.
Noah (Raising his hands in gratitude): "My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and believing women."
A Believer: "Praise be to Allah, who saved us from the wrongdoing people. Truly, His mercy encompasses all things."
Moral of the Story: Patience, persistence in doing what is right, and absolute trust in Allah bring ultimate salvation, even when everyone else around you doubts you.
