Losing Speed (Unfinished) (17.02.2024)

"Ahahahaha!!!!" The evil Dr Eggman laughed, "I've finally done it," He said, "I've finally figured out a way to slow that blue pineapple down!" It was true. He had created a device that would zap the hedgehog almost unconscious! But...will make him lose his speed. Which, will take some time, though. "Without his speed, he'll never be able to defeat me!" He shouted. "Ahahahaha!!" His laugh faded into the moonlight, as the next day came by...
"Sorry I'm late, guys, I had to grab a Chilly Dog on the way here, also a few rings..." Sonic said, as he quickly prepared himself for battle. Amy smiled at him, "Same excuse every time!" She yelled at him. "Stop talking guys! Eggman's getting more badniks!" Tails yelled at them. In all that time of talking, Eggman was able to get a ton of badniks all set up. "Ready?" He said. "FIRE!" All the badniks scrambled towards them, and so did Sonic, Tails and Amy. It seemed that the battle had begun.
As Sonic ran all over the place crushing all of Eggman's badniks one by one, Eggman got his device ready, to zap the speed (and energy) out of Sonic, he just had to wait until Sonic wasn't moving.
When the battle was over.....you already knew who won.
"Yes! We did it! Great job, team!" Sonic said. "I have to admit, that was really easy..." Tails said, suspiciously. Amy looked at him slightly puzzled, "It didn't feel easy." She said. As they all continued to chit-chat, Eggman noticed that Sonic wasn't moving....SO, he aimed right at Sonic with his device and....

....Sonic hit the ground...
Eggman laughed loudly and left, knowing that just maybe victory was his...
Tails & Amy looked at Sonic. "Sonic?!" Amy shouted. But nothing. Tails looked at Sonic closely, noticing he looked vastly different. Sonic had become really pale, everywhere! Only small hints of blue were leaking out from around him, and to top that all off, he was almost transparent...Tails gasped! "Uhm...Amy? I-I think Eggman did this..." He said. Amy suddenly got really mad.
"No one is allowed to mess with Sonic, accept me!" She yelled, as she got her hammer, and ran off!
"No, Amy..!" Tails groaned.
Tails glanced at Sonic, who was really still... "Sonic, are you..."
"Me? Heh...never better..." Sonic croaked, slowly sitting up. Tails hesitated, now aware that Sonic was awake. "S-Sonic...did you see what...well...hit you, I guess? Because I bet Eggman did this!" He told him. "...Well...I think it was some kind of blue..laser.." Sonic said. "It came from...what was it..."
"It's okay if you don't remember. Just tell when you do." Tails stood up and started to walk off. Sonic stood up as well, but, could barely move because of how weak he was. Sonic grunted suddenly, his energy crackled suddenly and -in mist form- left his body. "Woah.." Was all he could make out. He was on the ground again. Tails turned around, and immediately felt guilty. "Ah...sorry!" He smiled nervously, as he helped Sonic up, and the two of them headed for Tails' workshop where they would figure out what was wrong with Sonic...
