The story we're trying to tell is written in a way that gives you the feeling of watching a movie.
Imagine a director or a writer sitting across from a producer, narrating their story-not just explaining what happens, but making you see every scene through the eyes of the character experiencing it. That's the kind of writing style we've tried to bring into this story.
Chapter 1 - Shree
9:00 AM
The TV in the PG room showed 9:00 AM.
Three friends were getting ready for office, all dressed formally and rushing to get out.
Shree. Dharani. Lokesh.
Lokesh was locking the room.
"Even if we get ready quickly, it still ends up being 9 o'clock by the time we lock the room..."
Shree looked at him and smiled.
"Every day, you wake up late. And every day, you repeat the same dialogue. At least say something different... even the lock must be getting bored of hearing it."
"Fine, leave it..."
Lokesh locked the door, and the three of them walked down the stairs.
They wished the PG owner goodbye and started walking towards their office.
It was less than a kilometre away from their PG. Straight and a right then office.
After walking a few steps, Shree received a call from his mother.
"Have you all left?"
"Yeah, Mom. We're on our way."
While talking to his mother, Shree stopped near a shop.
Lokesh gestured to him, asking him to buy cigarettes.
Since Shree was on the phone with his mother, he gave Lokesh a look that clearly said, "I'll kill you."
He muted the call, went into the shop, and bought the cigarettes.
He bought one for Lokesh too.
"Are you at a shop?"
"Yeah, Mom. I stopped to buy some fruits."
The shopkeeper gave Shree a strange look.
Shree took the cigarettes, paid the money, and continued talking.
"Buy some for the boys too."
"Hmm... I bought them. Has Shanmugam left?"
"Say 'Dad.' How many times have I told you? He just left."
While talking to his mother, Shree took the right turn that the other two had already taken.
"Okay... How is Dharani's mother? He wanted to see his mother the day he left, right?"
"Where, Mom? His manager seems to be a proper guy... He doesn't give him leave at all."
"Working without a drop of humanity..."
Shree continued walking while talking to his mother.
He didn't notice the road ahead.
Then-
A car came speeding towards them.
Shree looked up.
The car was heading straight towards Dharani. And hit him. He fell down and lokesh was lifting Dharani and looks back at the car and saw Shree then shouting..
"Shreeee...! Catch him!"
Shree looked towards the car.
He quickly searched around for a stone.
He found one.
And threw it straight at the car's glass.
CRASH!
The car stopped.
Shree immediately ran towards it.
He opened the car door.
A girl was driving.
Vidya.
Shree grabbed her hands and pulled her out of the car, dragging her towards the accident spot.
Shree looked at Dharani.
He was bleeding.
Then he looked at the girl.
But she wasn't looking at Dharani.
She was looking somewhere else.
Shree followed her gaze.
Through the crowd, a boy was walking towards them.
Harish.
He looked at Vidya with anger.
The moment she saw him, she was afraid.
Shree watched him carefully.
Why was he looking at her like that?
And why was she so afraid to see him?
The camera slowly moves behind Shree...
towards the boy.
Harish.
The curiosity in Shree's eyes shifts to the anger in Harish's.
And then...
the camera moves down to the watch on Harish's hand.
The time displayed on it was-
09:15.
The numbers fill the screen.
