" Okay, let's take this from the top.

My name is Skye Bennette. I was bitten by a radioactive wolf spider, and for the last three years, I've been the world's one and only Huntsman.

I'm pretty sure you know the rest.

Let's see. I saved the city, lead my robotics team to a golden victory at nationals, graduated high school, saved the city again, joined a killer band that's still somehow working around my shitty schedule, started college, saved the city for a third time— and had to decide between being Huntsman and being an engineer. In the end, there will be more engineers. So, I dropped out, met someone, ...lost someone, lost my dad, stopped talking to my mom, found a cool basement to call home, and even through everything, I never stopped being Huntsman.

But I used to be different. One day, I'm me, with my strength and speed and senses, and the next, I've changed. My canines grew, I started secreting venom, I could see perfectly in the dark, and weirdest of all, I started shooting webs. Real, honest-to-God webs from my wrists. And worst of all, I'm no longer me all the time. My head gets fuzzy, and I'm trapped in my own head, watching myself from the outside.

Then, I wake up.

And it always ends in tragedy.

I've hurt a lot of people back home. Huntsman isn't the golden girl of New York anymore. But that won't stop me from trying to help people, even if I'm not thanked for any of it. Before he died, dad told me that great power comes with great responsibility. And I'll be damned if I let the spider win. I'll beat it, and make my dad proud. And I've got a lead on where to start. "

who's excited!!! i'm currently obsessed with spiderman so here we are. obviously, as you can tell by the intro, it's sort of a conceptual crossover between the spiderverse movies and the mcu. this is supposed to be like a spinoff/au that takes place prior bnd. not entirely sure if i'm going to incorporate much of actual bnd, or if i'm gonna wrap up the story by then. tbd. anyways, i hope you enjoy!! thank you for reading! <3
