SHE'S MINE

The Honmoon had been sealed.

The demons had been banished.

The demon King Gwi Ma had been defeated.

The world should have been safe.

But Mira and Zoey couldn't celebrate.

Because Rumi was gone.

The last thing they remembered was Rumi screaming as the collapsing Honmoon dragged her into the darkness.

"I'm half demon."
Those had been Rumi's final words before she disappeared.

Mira and Zoey tried their very best to hold Rumi. But the demon realms pull is stronger than them.

Mira had refused to accept them as goodbye.

Neither had Zoey.

So when the last remnants of the Honmoon faded, the two demon hunters stood before the dark rift that had formed where Rumi had vanished.

Zoey stared into it.
"Mira..."

"I know."

"We don't know what's on the other side."

"I know."

"We might not come back."

Mira tightened her grip around her weapon.
"Rumi is still our friend."

Zoey sighed.
"Yeah."

She stepped beside Mira.
"Even if she's half demon."

Mira nodded.
"Especially because she's our friend."

Zoey inhaled deeply.
"Then I guess we're coming to the demon realm to rescue her."

Mira nodded.
"Let's go rescue our friend."

Without another word, they jumped.

Into the unknown. Into the Demon Realm.

They landed hard.

Mira rolled across a field of black stone and immediately stood.

Zoey landed beside her.
"Okay."

She looked around.
"Definitely not Seoul."

The sky above them was crimson.

Massive floating rocks hung in the air.

Dark mountains stretched endlessly across the horizon.

And somewhere in the distance, something screamed.

Mira raised her weapon.
"Rumi!"

Her voice echoed.

No answer.

Then-

Clap.

Clap.

Clap.

Someone applauded from the darkness.

"Well, well, well."

Mira froze.

A familiar figure emerged.
Baby.

Behind him came Mystery.

And then Abby.

Their demon forms were unmistakable.

Zoey's expression hardened.
"It's the Saja Boys."

Mira raised her weapon
"You guys"

Baby smiled.
"You actually followed us here."

Mystery tilted his head.
"That's either incredibly brave..."
His smile disappeared.
"...or incredibly stupid."
