The eerie dark of the enchanted forest went on for miles. Who knows how long you've been wandering these woods, but it feels like it's been... well, you don't know. Time seems to be flowing differently here. It could have been hours, or it could've been weeks.

Time has been lost on you.

You wandered for a while, but you could feel the exhaustion beginning to take its toll on your body. You had nothing with you... You were never supposed to come here, yet here you are, unprepared for whatever was lurking in these woods...It was a miracle you haven't come across anything... or anyone...

You needed to find a place to take shelter. Somewhere you could rest and regain your bearings.

Your vision was already starting to blur at the edges, but you could see a small cave just at the edge of the woods.

As you approached the cave's opening, your ears perked up as you heard the soft crackling of a fire coming from just inside. You paused, debating about looking for another place to rest instead, but eventually turned around. When you did, you found yourself face-to-face with a woman who had an arrow drawn back in her bow.

The woman took a step forward, arrow still ready to be fired. Her grey eyes narrowed in suspicion, "Who are you? What are you doing outside my camp?"

You took a step back, but the sudden movement caused your head to spin. You defensively raised your hands, trying to show you meant no harm, but only managed to stumble over your own feet. You hit the ground hard, the world spinning all around you. Everything was growing dark and muddy.

"Are you alright? Hey," the woman said, her words muffling as your exhaustion finally took over, your eyes drifting shut as you lost consciousness.

When you finally come to, you find yourself lying on a makeshift cot. Your head was still a bit muddy, but you could make out the sound of the crackling fire once more, and this time also the smell of meat being cooked.

You shift on the cot, noticing that the woman who was holding the bow to your head was now cooking what looked to be a deer, but had more enchanted features to it. She heard the sound of the shifting cot, glancing over her shoulder to see that you were awake, "About time you woke up. I was thinking you'd sleep on my cot all day long. But now that you are awake, I can finally get some answers about what exactly you are."

You looked up at her, gaze full of confusion, "You... don't know what I am...?"

She looked at you, walking forward and inspecting your wolf-like features, "You look like a Kitsune... but you have more wolfish features than fox... I've never seen anything like you before... what are you...?"

You hesitated, glancing around at everything, seeing her bow leaning against the cave wall, but she still had a dagger strapped to her thigh. You took a nervous breath before answering her question, "I'm an Okami wolf..."

"An Okami, huh? Never heard of that, and I'm from Krododell for god's sake"

You blink at the name. Krododell? You'd never heard of that before, "I don't want to sound ignorant... but what's Krododell...?"

Her gaze snaps to you, her face a mix of shock and confusion, "What do you mean? Krododell is one of the main continents of Kaelovar"

"You're talking in a foreign language now..."

"Are you sure you didn't hit your head, Okami?" she questions, now looking utterly dumbfounded by your lack of knowledge.

"I have a name, you know," you chimed in, crossing your arms.

"So do I. You just haven't bothered to ask."

You let out an exasperated sigh, running a hand through your disheveled hair, "Can I ask what your name is then? And also ask where the hell I am...?"
