I Hate You But I Want You...

A Surprisingly Wrong But Right Night

             Applejack saw hell that day... or heaven... maybe even both. She was dragged by Pinkie Pie to a frat party and looked like she'd been through anything imaginable... because Rainbow Dash was there... and also since she didn't even want to go in the first place.

She walked in wearing what she thought was "normal" for a party. It was a country outfit. White tank top under a tied up, unbuttoned, plaid, black and red flannel, with dark blue bootcut jeans, boots and a cowboy hat with a brown belt.

First thing she walked in, the smell of cheap beer and regret smacked her harder than Granny Smith with her old wooden spoon. She thought she'd be left alone in peace until a frat boy started flirting with her. "Hey, hot stuff. You seem a little country to be here... I'll show you around... and I'll even show you a good time." He winked as he was all up in her space, smelling like a mystery drink and absolute chaos.

"No thanks, city boy. I'd rather have a horse step on my shoe than have you showin' me around this place and 'specially showin' me somethin' that I ain't got interest in. We all know someone who ain't gonna get a partner any time soon, and he's right in front of me." She responds. No mercy.

Everyone ooo'ed and laughed. He acted as if he wasn't hurt (his ego sure was) and walked away while muttering, "Damn country bumpkin bitch..." Rainbow Dash snorted in the back. Applejack rolled her eyes at that. 

Pinkie Pie shoves a mystery drink in AJ's hand and exclaims. "Loosen up, Applejack! You're barely having any fun!! Come on!!" She says. AJ sighs and gives in. She's too tired to deal with Pinkie's nonsense. "Okay, okay, fine, I guess." Applejack gulps that down, the liquor burning down her throat and engraving itself into her chest.

Bad idea. AJ's vision swims, her limbs feel like jelly, and her brain turned into water. She tries to go into a room so she doesn't end up on the sticky floors, wobbling uncontrollably. Not too long after, she passes out on the bed of who-knows-who. Voices were then a distant memory.

Then, she woke up... well, not exactly. She was paralyzed. She couldn't speak, and couldn't open her eyes, but she could hear everything. The door of the bedroom creaking open, chatter, then laughter. Ugly, disgusting laughter. Panic creeped in, and before she knew it, she was cold sweating. Her eyelids felt like they weighed 100 pounds. Her heart felt like it was going to burst out her chest.

"Hah, I knew giving her stupid little freak friend that drink was a good idea. She's wiped out, and now we can start our business. Chad, start with her clothes."

Applejack knew that voice. The flirting frat boy when she first came in. She was trapped in her own body, devastated, defeated, and defenseless. She was full on sweating.

Then, once they were about to start pulling her clothes off, someone barged in, door slamming open with a bang loud enough to shake a small town and with an aura of a raging bull.

Who could it be? All Applejack heard were bones disgustingly cracking, scattering, yelping, and screaming. The sounds of chaos.

Turns out the frat boys scrambled out after that and all that was left was heavy breathing and an unshakable feeling that it might've been Rainbow Dash. The Rainbow Dash who would purposely trip her and make fun of her hat.

The Rainbow Dash who would shove her whenever she could. The cocky, unbothered, popular Rainbow Dash. That one. Her rival. Her enemy. Her hater. Her bully. The one person she hated... yet always looked for.

Then, with all her strength, Applejack opened her eyes. It was blurry, but she opened them. And there she stood— Rainbow Dash. Bloody knuckles, hard breathing, and still as ever.

AJ would've laughed in the past if she heard that Rainbow Dash actually protected her, but the only sound she made was a groan.

Rainbow Dash turned to her, her face relaxing just microscopically... but it was there.
