The rain poured relentlessly over Los Angeles, turning the city streets into a blur of headlights and reflections. Inside the black SUV racing toward the hospital, Toni Braxton gripped the seat with one hand and held her stomach with the other as another contraction tore through her body.

"Oh, God..." she whispered, squeezing her eyes shut.

"It's okay, sis. Just breathe. We're almost there," Tamar said from the driver's seat, trying to stay calm even though her heart was racing.

"This baby isn't waiting," Toni gasped.

Minutes later, the SUV pulled up to a private entrance at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Security hurried to clear the entrance as Tamar rushed around the vehicle to help her sister into a wheelchair.

"I've got you," Tamar said, wrapping an arm around Toni.

As they hurried through the automatic doors, nurses rushed toward them.

"Thirty-nine weeks," Tamar called out. "Her contractions are less than three minutes apart."

The nurses quickly wheeled Toni toward Labor and Delivery.

Everything around her became a blur—the bright lights, the voices, the beeping monitors.

Another contraction hit.

She cried out, grabbing Tamar's hand.

"I can't do this."

"Yes, you can," Tamar said firmly. "You're one of the strongest women I know."

After several exhausting hours, one final push filled the room with silence.

Then...

A baby's cry echoed through the delivery room.

Tears streamed down Toni's face as the doctor carefully placed a healthy baby boy on her chest.

"Congratulations," the doctor smiled. "He's beautiful."

Toni looked into her son's tiny eyes and gently stroked his cheek.

"Hi, my sweet boy," she whispered. "I've been waiting for you."

Welcome to the world Ashton Jayceon Taylor..

For the first time in months, the fear disappeared.

Nothing else mattered.

Not the rumors.

Not the gossip.

Not the secret she had carried alone.

Only him.

A nurse quietly approached with paperwork.

"Ms. Braxton," she said softly. "We'll need the father's information for the birth certificate."

The room fell silent.

Tamar looked at her sister but didn't say a word.

Toni stared down at her son before slowly lifting her eyes.

"No."

The nurse hesitated.

"You want to leave it blank?"

Toni nodded.

"Yes."

As the nurse walked away, Toni picked up her phone.

Dozens of unread messages covered the screen.

One name stood out above all the others.

The Game.

Her thumb hovered over his name.

She wanted to tell him.

She wanted him to know he had a son.

Instead...

She locked the phone, placed it on the bedside table, and held her baby even tighter.

"I'll tell you someday," she whispered. "But not today."

Outside the hospital, a photographer spotted a familiar SUV pulling away from the private entrance.

He raised his camera.

Click.

He had no idea the picture he had just taken would ignite the biggest celebrity rumor of the year.
