Trinity:

5'4, Mexican, pale skin, big brown eyes, long brown curly hair, sharp yet buttonish nose, freckles, pudgish, rounded teeth, gummy smile, annoying laugh, and bad jokes.

Christian:

6'2, Mexican and Native American, dark caramel skin, big brown eyes, down turned eyelashes, straight black hair grown into a mullet and parted down the middle, pudgish but rather full for his height, mean jokes, loud laugh, obvious.

High School:

Trinity was just finishing up one of her last finals, graduation seemed closer than she could imagine. She was adding the final touches in Mr. Alex's room when Christian Rojas walked in with his best friend Daniel Reyes. She knew of the both of them since they were classmates since middle school and her cousin's neighbors, so she occasionally saw those two giggleshitters in the neighborhood wrecking havoc on those who neared the area.

"Oh hey Mr. A." Chris greeted.

"How do you feel boys? One week and its all over." The educator retorted.

"Bittersweet." The boy responded.

Daniel and Mr. Alex continued the conversation as Chris zoned out, focusing on a certain curly haired mess struggling five feet away. 'who is that..' he wondered in his mind. Being entranced by this disaster in baggy jeans, a white top, and Birkenstock sandals in which all focus went to gluing on this stupid piece of paper onto her poster board.

"OH MY GOD" She yelled. "FINALLY finished. This girl is finally done with stupid useless time consuming highschool projects."

They all laughed.

"Thank you so much for allowing me to stay here Mr. A, however I am finally off to get a meal gosh..." She spoke in a mix of happiness and desperation.

Chris continued mesmerized.

They made eye contact and it was like something shifted in the air ever so slightly.

She had been too busy overachieving to get into UCLA these past 4 years to notice Christian or boys as a whole.
