CHAPTER 1

Saint and shin are lying on the floor in shin's bedroom head to head. The sound of birds chirping and warm summer sun fills the room, the soft breeze ruffling their locks now and then.

Shin has a blue lock manga in his hand, his eyes running over the panel and words. Saint is simply staring at the ceiling, enjoying the silent comfortable atmosphere.

"Shin, can you believe we just finished 9th grade? We would have been in 11th grade if we weren't sent to school 2 years late" saint said as a sigh left his lips.

He waited for a response from his best friend while slightly pouting but he got none.

"Aii shin!!" Saint said and sat up on the floor

Shin just hummed at Saint's words,which he probably didn't hear, and flipped to the next page of the manga

"Tsk" saint snatched the manga from shin,annoyed that he wasn't getting attention

"Ai saint, give it back!" Shin sat up and tried to snatch it back

"No i won't. Nowadays you are always into football, shin. You don't even spend time with me, I'm starting to feel like it's stealing my best friend from me" saint said and threw the manga on shin's bed, a mixture of hurt and mild annoyance flashing his eyes

Shin sighed and said "don't freaking overthink now, I know I'm your only friend and you'll probably die if we stop being friends" he teased and reached out a hand to ruffle Saint's hair.

Saint groaned and rolled his eyes,"don't talk like you have many friends, you barely even talk to our gang members"

Shin just flashed a humorous grin and shrugged before he laid back on the floor again, his head resting in his arms and eyes closed. What else should he do? Saint was right anyway

Saint leaned against the bed, his head thrown back on the mattress, "leave it. Anyway when will chingching and your mom come back?" He asked, the earlier annoyance fading

"After a month, I guess"

"Why didn't you go with them,shin? Don't you want to see your step father's family?"

Shin opened his eyes and looked at Saint, his lips pressed into a straight line,"I don't want to, it's not like he's my real father or something"

Saint didn't lift his head but he could feel shin's gaze. He knew shin didn't like his step dad even though he was glad that his mom didn't stay depressed and moved on.

The silence last a few mins before saint decided to break it
"Should we go out and pick a figh-"

"Don't even think about it! I want a peaceful vacation for once"

Saint stood up sulking, went to the open balcony and leaned on the railing

Shin smiled as he watched him and stood up to grab the manga again

"Who are they??" Saint suddenly pointed towards the garden of the neighborhood house.

"Who?" Shin stopped halfway and went to the balcony

There were 2 boys, they looked 14. They were standing behind a huge tree in the garden and the taller boy was holding the little boy's waist as he placed small,quick pecks all over his face.

"Damn there are the kids next door!! Didn't know they had a thing for each other!!" Shin's jaw was basically on the floor

"Even little kids have partners but we are still single" saint said and they both broke into a laugh but regretted it the next sec as the kids pulled out, they probably heard them laughing like evil witches on brooms

Saint immediately pushed himself and shin towards behind a pillar, hiding as the kids looked around

Their faces were so close that shin could see Saint's face in 4k and saint gets attacked by shin's lethal face card

They saw the kids go in but they didn't pull back, they held a eye contact for 3 secs before they both burst out laughing

"Gosh saint!! Your face was so close it felt like you were a gaint looking through a peephole or something"

"Same goes for you!! I could make out ur pores!"

They both laughed so much that they ended up on the balcony floor, crutching their stomachs
