Chapter 47

Jade's POV

I grabbed my phone from the night stand and quickly dialed my mum's number.

After 3 rings, she finally picked up.

" Hello?" My mum asked.

"Mum, why did you hurt Perrie?" I asked immediately.

"Because she deserved it." She answered.

"No she didn't! She didn't do anything to you." I argued.

"Yes, she did."

"What?" I scoffed.

"She took you away from me!" She yelled.

"How?" I asked, confused.

"Jade, when you were young me and you were very close. Even when you were in high school. But then Perrie came along and suddenly it was all about her." She explained.

"I barely had any friends at that time!"

"I know. And i was happy that you made a friend. But now she's your girlfriend-"

"What are you trying to say? That you're angry because I finally found love?"

"I wanted you to have a boyfriend, not a girlfriend."

I rolled my eyes.

"And then I come home to see you and Perrie kissing, and then you tell me that you're dating her? I was disappointed."

"You didn't seem like you were." I said.

"I did that because you seemed happy and I didn't wanna ruin that."

"I was happy. I am happy." I said, smiling a little.

"But can you do me a favor?" I asked.

"Yes, anything." She replied.

"Stay out of my life."

I hung up the phone and put in down on the night stand.

I took a deep breath and tried to relax.

Suddenly the door opened, and Perrie walked in.

She smiled and walked towards me.

"How's my beautiful girl?" She said, leaning down and placing a soft kiss on my cheek.

"Great." I replied, smiling happily.

It wasn't a lie. I was feeling good because now I don't have to worry about my mom anymore.

"How're you feelin'?" I asked. 

"Good, I guess. I'm still hurting a little, though." She said. 

"Come cuddle with me." I said, opening my arms. 

She chuckled as she walked over and laid down next to me. 

I wrapped my arms around her and she snuggled up to me. 

"Where's Zayn?" I asked. 

"Oh, he left a while ago." I nodded. 

"How are things with your mum?" She asked. 

"Good, I think." 

" What do you mean?" She asked. 

"I called her today and we talked for a few minutes. She was angry and she just kept saying bad things about you and our relationship. She doesn't support it at all." I explained. 

"So, she hates me." She said. 

"She just doesn't like the fact that i'm dating a girl." I said. 

Perrie nodded. 

"So, is she gone forever?" I chuckled. 

"I hope so." I said. 

Later on, me and Perrie ended up falling asleep. Well, Perrie did. I didn't. 

I just stared at her, thinking how lucky I am to have such a wonderful, beautiful, amazing person in my life. 

And now that my mum is out of my life, everything will go smoothly. 

At least, I thought it would.
