The morning sky was painted with soft streaks of orange as the city slowly woke up.

Today wasn't just another day.
It was the first day of college.

Miu stared at her reflection one last time.

She adjusted the collar of her neatly pressed white blouse before grabbing her backpack from the edge of her bed. Her dark hair was tied into a low ponytail, though a few stubborn strands escaped and framed her face.

"Perfect."

Well... almost.

She looked around her room to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything.

Notebook.

Pens.

Student ID.

Wallet.

Phone.

Everything checked.

Downstairs, the smell of toasted bread and brewed coffee welcomed her.

"You're leaving already?" her mother asked while setting a plate on the table.

"I don't want to be late on the first day."

"You've said that five times since yesterday."

Miu laughed sheepishly.

"It's college."

Her mother smiled knowingly.

"You'll do great."

After a quick breakfast, Miu slipped on her shoes and headed outside.

The morning breeze carried a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

"A fresh start..."

She took a deep breath before walking toward the train station.

Across the city...

Lena stood quietly beside her window.

Unlike Miu, there was no visible excitement on her face.

She simply watched the sun climb above the buildings.

After a few seconds, she picked up her bag.

No hesitation.

No unnecessary movements.

Everything she did was calm and precise.

Her room was spotless.

Books arranged by height.
Pens aligned perfectly.

Schedule already memorized.

She glanced at her watch.
7:08 AM.

Right on time.

Her aunt peeked from the kitchen.

"Good luck today."

"I'll be back before dinner."

"Don't overwork yourself."

"I won't."

A short reply.

A small nod.

Then she left.

The university campus was already bustling with students.

Freshmen wandered around holding campus maps upside down.

Some took selfies beside the university logo.

Others nervously searched for their classrooms.

Upperclassmen watched with amused smiles.
