Soul and mind are not one. The soul does not want the flood of inspiration, it wants rest. The mind cannot help itself and creates new ideas. The mind wants to figure out concepts and make sense of it's thoughts. The soul is tired and does not give space for whimsy. Such is the way of how a body will function.
A load of thoughts and ideas and clues in a limited capacity does no good to the mind, it need to simplify to answers or deposit it's questions on a page. Too little input will keep a mind inactive and it shall wither til it's gone. The soul must regulate the reset of input to the mind to maintain one's wellbeing.
The soul does not expand itself, the mind keeps inputting. The soul must work for the mind to stay strong, and the mind must work for the soul to burn bright. But they are not one, for the mind is grounded to the world and stays, but the soul is not tethered and starts to float away. Such is the way of the world.
