P.S. the photo up here was an old photo of her (Aka concept art)
The feeling is light, truly. I never wanted this. I just... Don't feel anymore. For him, at least. I missed him. He just isn't the same anymore. Maybe it wasn't him I missed, but his old self. I didn't want to be like him, I wanted to be free, and we ended up... Divided.
For once in my life, I'm leaving this behind. This ship, it's just unbearable. My dad barely notices me anyways, even if he notices me, he never listens when I talk, he just says 'mhm, sure, yeah. Got it." and just leaves me at that. I want him to at least take some time off of work, it's going to be the death of him, eventually. I don't even really have friends who stay on this ship. We're always on the sea and they're passengers for a short while. I can't even keep friends for a day. More or less, even so, it'd be better for me to even go live a life outside a ship, even without a parental figure. I'm seventeen, for sake. I can go out if I want to.
As soon as I got out of my bed. (Which frankly enough was nailed into the ground because if it isn't, it's probably going to move around from the sea) 2
I grabbed my bag, it didn't have much stuff in it, since I could buy a few things outside of the boat, preferably from a town, most likely one I'll live in. I think that we're coming up close to the shore of the north end of Japan, so I could probably grab a safety boat for myself, my dad nor the crewmates would notice enough to care about it. I think.
I pack some more stuff in my bag. I don't have more than I'll need for a few days. Enough to make it somewhere and get a place to live. Usually before now, I'd do the jobs of some of the crewmates so I could get money in return, I've been thinking about leaving for a while now, it's crossed my mind a lot. But I can't help to think about the fact I might not have enough money, and I should take some of dad's hard earned cash? Maybe... I mean, if mom was here I could've got some from her maybe, she'd always get me little sweets. But I wouldn't even have to leave or deal with my stupid father if she was here. Maybe things could've been different. Huh, what a nice thought, too bad it's already too late. She's not coming back, and neither am I.
Really, am I doing this? All this senseless talk about one subject for my new adventure to the 3
next one? It's just not possible. How could I actually do this? I can't leave this behind, but yet again.... New adventures lead to new opportunities. And with that, I move out of my room. I've decided, not only am I going to leave, I'm going to take what I'll truly need, money. And I, Amari Kanri, will not back down against this.
