In a faraway village lived a little girl named Nyx. From a young age, Nyx was known for her wild spirit. She questioned everything, refused to stay quiet, and often argued with her mother. Her mother grew tired of trying to control her and eventually sent her away to the Makers people who claimed they could turn "troubled" children into perfect, polite women.
But no matter what they tried, Nyx never changed. She refused to lose herself just to fit their idea of perfection. The Makers grew frustrated, and their kindness slowly turned into cruelty. They began hurting Nyx with their words and actions, trying to break the girl they couldn't control.
Eventually, the Makers gave up. Instead of helping Nyx, they sold her to a mysterious laboratory without telling her mum, believing they were finally getting rid of their problem. But they had no idea what they had just created...

When Nyx stepped into the lab, she thought she had already seen the worst of people. She was wrong. The others wanted to change her behavior, but the lab wanted to change who she was. They didn't see a little girl... they saw a monster waiting to be created.The days in the lab became a blur. Nyx was put through tests she didn't understand, surrounded by people who looked at her like she wasn't a person. Every time she fought back, they smiled because to them, it was proof that they were right about her.
"See?" they would say. "She was always a monster."
But Nyx knew the truth... she wasn't born a monster. They were the ones trying to create one but they wouldn't get the satisfaction not while nyx is breathing.

During the first test, Nyx's scar began to turn black. The room went silent as the scientists realized something was awakening inside her. For the first time, even Nyx wondered if everyone had been right about her she really was a monster..
