Sana and Momo make their way to down to the company's repair garage. Jihyo is driving them there to pick up their cars.

The company garage sat beneath the main building, tucked away from the practice rooms and offices above. The moment Jihyo's SUV rolled down the concrete ramp, the familiar scent of motor oil and fresh rubber filled the air.

Sana stretched in her seat.

"I forgot how much I missed my car."

"You've said that three times already," Jihyo laughed as she parked. "You survived a week."

"A week is too long."

The garage was quieter than usual, the only sounds coming from the rhythmic hiss of an air compressor and the clink of metal against concrete.

Rows of company vans lined one side of the shop, freshly washed and waiting for their next schedule. Along the opposite wall sat several personal cars belonging to staff and artists, each parked with precision.

Y/n was exactly where they expected him to be.

He stood there by his work bench collecting parts, a socket rail and his impact.

Sana grinned.

"My favorite mechanic."

"Because I'm the only one you know." He says not even looking back

Y/n slid the socket rail into the top drawer of his tool cart before finally glancing over his shoulder.

His expression stayed as calm as ever.

"...Afternoon."

Sana placed a hand dramatically over her heart. "See? He greeted me first."

"He greeted both of us," Momo said, trying—and mostly succeeding—to keep her voice even.

Y/n gave a small shrug.

"You were standing in front."

"That's still a win," Sana declared.

Jihyo shook her head with an amused smile before tossing Y/n a ring of keys.

"They're finally done?"

He caught them without looking.

"Finished yesterday. I wanted to road-test them one more time this morning."

"You test-drove my car?" Sana asked.

"I test-drove both of them."

He started walking, and the three women followed him through the garage.

"They had to be checked after the repairs.
Suspension, steering, braking, alignment. Better I find a problem than you do."

Momo nodded appreciatively.

"Thank you."

"No problem."

He stopped in front of two cars parked side by side.

Both looked spotless.

The paint gleamed under the fluorescent lights, every window freshly cleaned, the tires dressed with a satin finish instead of the overly shiny coating most detail shops used.

Sana blinked.

"...Did someone wash them?"

"I did."

She looked at him.

"You repaired them... and cleaned them?"

"They were already in here."
