Hunter, having confidence from the last test, had forgotten the next test he had to face.
"The Mental Test"
This time, this would test their brain power instead of physical power.
"Woo! I'm confident for this next test!"
Hunter said with full confidence.
"The Mental Test shall begin in an hour! All past participants from the strength test, please come at exactly 7:40 am!"
"I think I know what I have to do."
Knowing he was not that smart, he fully anticipated what was about to happen, so in preparation, he decided to study the Isle of praise and it's different treasures.
Now he would be in the room where the test happens.
"The Mental test shall begin.. now!"
Two minutes passed... then ten... then twenty... then thirty...
until.. It finally came to an end.
"Everybody! Pens up!"
Everybody finished the test, thankfully this test is only one stage long. So whoever passed this test. Will pass the Mental Test.
"Xavier, pass.
Luka, pass.
Billy, fail
Angel, pass."
"Hunter... fail."
"Such a bummer, I expected more from you, Hunter."
Said Xavier in a sarcastic tone.
"W..what? This has to be some kind of mistake!"
"No hunter, you failed, and that's that. Deal with it."
Said another participant.
"Fine..."
Hunter walked out of the door, sad, and wondering what he did wrong.
"Hey... mom.."
"Honey? Why do you look so.. Oh, right.."
"Yep, I failed."
"Its okay son, you can always try again next yea-"
"I CAN'T TRY AGAIN NEXT YEAR!
Xavier is probably going to pass..
knowing his strength.. He.. hes going to be the greatest protector for a while.."
Said Hunter, he left his parents speechless.
As he ran up to his room, somebody interesting... was waiting.
