Chapter 1

BEEP BEEP BEEP

I groan as i turn my alarm off, I sit up in my bed and scratchies me chest and do a big stretch. I get up grab my clothes and get ready.

Today is the day i start college and I had only finished packing my last box yesterday. I head downstairs, my parents already ready to go.

Alrighty food is done boys, my mom yells out. We say our mornings and eat breakfast,

Hey ma, is the car ready for boxes? I ask. Yep, your father finished it this morning, and it's all ready to load up.

Thanks Pops, I say as we finish eating. It's no big deal, he says, I'm just glad I guy it done in time for ya.

I start loading up the boxes of my belonings and we head out. After driving past the welcome to Rulestown(the town his parents live), we drive 3 hours away to Claudia (the city where the college will be), and park in the lot.

Just look at this place honey, my mom says from the passenger seat to my dad. It's amazing you got in here. My dad says to me.

We get out of the car and see a group of people, one walks up to us.

Hi, are you here for orientation? I nod and follow the directions they give me.

They meet at that spot everytime, and make sure to attend each meetup. I nod and go into the building.

Hello, Name? The front desk lady says. Jasper Apollo. She look in the system and hands me the key, second third floor easy side and it's dorm 204.

I nod and head to the dorm with my parents and my belongings. I use the key and open the door.

THANK GOD, I say kinda loud. A clean roommate, definitely lucked out, my roommate walks out, Yo, you guys need some help? He asks

Yes please my mom says immediately

As time passes and we finish bring in all my boxes i say goodbye to my parents and start settling into the dorm

Hey, thank you for helping, it really helped, I say to him

You're welcome, my names Damian, and guess I am your roommate. He chuckles.

Hehe, thanks. My names Jasper, nice to formally meet ya. I say

I look up at him, Damn he is tall, I say in my head.
Which room is yours? I ask pointing to the rooms

Oh, mines on the left, so you'll have the one on the right, he states while pointing to the room.

Thanks, I say as I start getting my stuff into the room

After a few hours, I get myself all settled in and I start throwing away the boxes, crushing them down.

What kind of places for food are around? I ask

Hmm, well there is a good cafe about 10 minutes walk, there is a sushi place and I REALLY good Italian restaurant as well, we are also allowed to DoorDash if we really wanted to so Thats always an option. He explains.

What would u want? It's the least i can do for the help, I offer I also don't really wanna pick soooooo

Well I am in the mood for some sushi, I also heard their seafood in general is really good. He says is wings flapping ever so slightly.

Alrighty, lemme get ready real quick then we can head out. I say closing the door in my room

As I finish up, I head out of the room with Damian leaning against the front door, and he look up.

Ready? He asks standing up straight and grabbing his wallet.

Yup, all set, I say leaving the dorm room.
We talk for a bit as we go down the steps

JASPER?! A voice yells out, and green Protogen shows up in front of us wearing some type of workout clothes, I look there way, and turn the corner

Shit Shit Shit, I say aloud, why are they here?! I say to myself, Damian purs his hand on my shoulder

Yo you good man? He asks, Is that person an issue? He asks

He's my Ex, I thought I went far enough, of all colleges, why this one? I say and on the verge of hyperventilating

Jasper, calm down, there is another exit to this building, let's just take that. Ok? He asks, trying to assure me.

Yea, let's do that, I think I'm overreacting and just really need some food. I say chuckle nervously as we leave the building, they see us leave.
