"NANAMI COME BACK". My tail flips madly as I swim faster and faster and faster ignoring my fathers call.
"I REFUSE TO MARRY HIM". I scream back at him. Throwing off my crown I swim up to the surface towards the sand. Even though I'm swimming fast and hard the current tries pulling me back.
"NO STOP". After the next couple minutes of struggling I wind up back in my room. Locked in. A knock makes its way to my door.
"Nanami......". Sighing I look at the door and see Nathan, Ryan and Sophia swimming over to me. Sophia flings her tiny body into mine then starts to play with my long blonde hair twirling the pink highlights around her tiny finger while she rests her head on my shoulder.
"Ryan what did father say". Ryan looks up sighing.
"He isn't very happy Nanami". Ryan sighs
"Nanami you know you can't go against his word, you know I am going to be wed to Princess Fern and I'm fine with that". I look up at Nathan.
"That's because you love her Nate, plus she isn't snobby". Putting his hand on his hair ruffling it.
"Come on Nanami I know it sucks but you just have to deal". I glare at my younger brother knowing he is going to be wise one day.
"Whatever please get out I'm going to bed". Ryan looks at Nathan and Sophia then sighs.
"Alright come on Sophia". Sophia looks at me sadly then swims away following my brothers.
**Later that evening**
"Nanami come down for dinner". My fathers voice booms. Sighing I get up and swim towards the dining room.
"What is it.....". Stopping mid sentence I look over to see the one merman I as dreading to see.
"Hello princess Nanami". Prince Hayworth gets out of his seat and swims over to me pulling the seat out so I can sit down.
"Um thanks". I sit down and pull my seat in while a disgusted Janice glares at me.
"So Poseidon when shall we host the wedding". Almost choking on my food I look up at King Ronald. He looks at me confused and a bit disgusted while his wife giggles.
"Probably next month I mean we will need to prepare".
"Ah yes and Hayworth don't you have something to ask Nanami". I look over at King Ronald then at Hayworth, when he takes out the clam shell I'm mortified. He kneels down on his tail and asks,
"Nanami I know I haven't know you for such a long time but will you do me the honor of being my queen". He opens the box and inside is a golden band with a shimmering pearl connected to it on top. I look around at my family, and of course Janice is nodding at me trying to get me to say yes while my father and King Ronald look at me impatiently. Looking back down at Hayworth I back away.
"No".Hayworth looks at me utterly surprised while Janice has fainted.
"NANAMI" My fathers voice booms. Taking off to my room adrenaline pumping through my tail I lock the door and slid down it crying. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Mmmmmm Cecilia". I push myself farther into her mouth.
"XANDER". I look up suddenly to see my fuming mother barge in.
"MOM". Cecilia screams. My mom rushes over grabs Cecilia by her fake blonde hair and drags her out of the room.
"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM HER". I growl at her,
"You can't tell me what to do". My mother looks livid.
"ASHER GET IN HERE AND TEACH YOUR SON A LESSON".
'F*ck'.
'See this is what you get when you don't wait for your mate'.
'Shut up you stupid mutt'. Looking at my mom while she waits for my dad to come up I remember my pants aren't on. Scrambling to my closet I put on another pair.
"Asher please tell your son what's gonna happen when he finds his mate and he is banging every slut in sight". My father looks at me and sighs.
"Rose leave the boy alone, he will get what is coming to him". I smirk as my mothers mouth drops.
"B-b-but Asher". My mom rushes out to try and get my dad back to talk to me. Walking out I see Cecilia waiting outside playing with her nails.
"Well where were we".
