At midnight, the streets of Seoul were still alive with beautiful lights, open cafés, and people enjoying the night.
However, for Kim Taehyung, the city felt strangely quiet.
He sat alone in his luxury apartment overlooking the Han River, silently staring at the wedding ring resting on the table. A wedding ring that supposed to use between him and his fiance.
Everyone around him believed he was living a perfect life.
His career was flourishing.
His family was so proud of him.
His friends admired him.
In just a few months, he was supposed to marry the woman he believed was his soulmate.
But he was wrong.
Only he knew that their relationship no longer felt like genuine love.
His fiancée, Lia, had changed over the past year. She was always busy with business meetings, events, and overseas trips-or at least that was what Taehyung believed.
Their conversations became colder.
Their dates became rarer.
Even her smiles felt forced.
Sometimes, Taehyung wondered if Lia still loved him.
He sighed as his phone buzzed.
On text:
JK: Hyung, don't forget tomorrow's charity basketball event! BTS and TWICE are both attending! I can't wait to see my crush there! Hahaha!
Taehyung smiled faintly.
Jungkook never failed to brighten everyone's mood.
He simply replied with a thumbs-up emoji before placing his phone back on the table.
Little did he know that tomorrow would change his life forever.
'TWICE DORM'
Across the city, laughter echoed throughout the TWICE dorm.
The members sat together in the living room eating jokbal and fried chicken after a long rehearsal.
Momo danced around while Sana and Dahyun laughed so hard that they almost spilled their drinks.
In the corner, Tzuyu quietly scrolled through the photos and videos she had taken during practice.
Photography had always been one of her favorite hobbies, aside from playing online games.
She loved capturing little moments.
Jihyo walked over and peeked at her phone.
Jihyo: "You always take such beautiful photos."
Tzuyu smiled.
Tzuyu: "I just love remembering the little moments."
Nayeon leaned over the couch.
Nayeon: "What about remembering a boyfriend instead?"
Everyone burst into laughter.
Tzuyu covered her face in embarrassment.
