The female lead in this story is an unreliable narrator, so I hope you'll keep that in mind and still enjoy the ride! Also, just a heads-up on the timeline: I've aged Duncan up to Aerion's age for this fic, but Egg is still his canon age. I'm going to try to make Aerion as cruel as possible, while still balancing it out with the romance.
