The win from the Higher or Lower challenge was fresh in all the girls' minds as they found their way to the firepit. JaNa pulled Seraphina down so she'd sit in between her and Serena, Liv next to her and Kaylor and Leah next to her again.

JaNa started as they had all sat down, Kordell being the topic of conversation, "Can we talk about how his name is Kordell and his brother's name is Odell."

The girls laughed and Seraphina had to joke, "His parents must really like Dell laptops."

Her joke hit as she hoped it would, the girls laughing, JaNa bumping her shoulder with hers, uttering something about in the midst of her laughter, "That's so stupid."

After it had died down, JaNa continued with the Kordell conversation, "But can we admit, him never ever bringing it up?"

"So humble."

"I was amazed by that," Kaylor added. "Like, that speaks measures about his character."

They made their sounds of agreement. Speaking of character, Leah addressed JaNa, "Were Coye's answers a deal breaker..."

Just mentioning his name made annoyance grow within Seraphina. And JaNa as she visibly became annoyed. "You can't judge someone for their past and I'm not, but, like, you don't just lie about it."

"Yeah, don't lie about it."

"And then judge someone else for it," Seraphina added. "Like what was that? God, I hate men. And people wonder why I go for women more."

The girls laughed at that, Kaylor exclaiming, "Oh, I wish."

"Yeah, and also," JaNa said, remembering his bullshit from before. "If you think 150 is cute, like..." She rolled her eyes, scoffing as she turned to look over at where the boys were sitting—and staring at them. Coye was acting all unbothered, they could see it from here, and it unsettled her as she turned back to the girls, a smile on her face to cover it up, "I wanna throw up."

"No."

"Listen!"

"It could just be he doesn't wanna lose you," Liv told her, hoping to reassure her.

"No," JaNa shot it down. "I wanna throw up 'cause I'm confused. If I'm being hoesnt, I liked Connor's answers over Coye's answers."

"Oh shit."

Seraphina wrinkled her nose. "He was acting like a little bitch too though."

"I mean, yeah. It wasn't good." JaNa nodded, then continued, "Based of how Coye responds, like his energy, if he's gonna be defensive it's really gonna like..."

"Turn you off?"

"You know what I mean, compared to..." she shrugged, then stated, "Yeah, I definitely want to talk to Coye." With that she stood up, uttering as she pulled her skirt down, "Dun. Dun. Dun."

They watched as she left, sharing a look when they saw her pull Coye away from the boys.

Hours later, the sun having set and the girls in pretty dresses, it was time for dinner and all that came with. It looked like a pretty evening, but Seraphina just got flashbacks to JaNa crying earlier when they were getting ready and it was ruined instantly.

She couldn't help but stay stuck to her side.

Seraphina couldn't be sure if that was the reason why Coye didn't approach her or if it was something else, but he wouldn't get to anyway because Kaylor called out suddenly, "Guys. Guys! I got a text!"
