The story started at Maribelle All Girls' School. To anyone passing by, it looks like just another ordinary academy where students from quiet homes and well-to-do families walk the same halls, study in the same classrooms, and live seemingly normal lives. Everything appears calm and unassuming on the surface... but truths often hide exactly where no one thinks to look, waiting for the right moment to slowly unravel.

That was where I met her.

She said her name was Fin. With soft blue waves cascading down her shoulders and that calm, steady way she carries herself, she seemed ordinary enough at first glance. But the moment our eyes met... something deep inside me shifted.

〝It's nice to finally meet you, Scylimi,〞she said gently.

Her voice was soft, yet it rang clear and steady in the quiet air. I stood frozen in place, searching her face for something familiar something na hindi ko mabigyan ng paliwanag dahil hindi ko matandaan kung paano ko nga ba nararamdaman ang familiarity sa dalaga.

It felt like a lock clicking open without a key. Like a long-silent string finally humming again. A strange, familiar pull that should never exist between strangers. Looking at her felt like coming home... yet like meeting someone entirely new.

Dahil dito, hindi ko maiwasang magtanong sa sarili: Did Fin come to mend the parts of me that broke long ago? Or is she here only to remind me of a past I do not wish to look back on?

Why does it feel like I have known you forever? Why does standing here feel like I am finally where I belong?

Pilit kong hinahanap ang lohikal na paliwanag para sa bigat na humihila sa dibdib ko... pero wala akong mahanap. Whatever this is, it is far beyond what I can understand, and far stronger than any choice I have ever tried to make.

But just as new questions begin to form, old wounds reopen sharper than ever.

The Eight Circle took someone dear to me. And now that I know the truth... will I have the strength to make them pay for what they did to Clause?

Nanginginig ang mga kamay ko sa matinding galit at pagnanais na makapagbigay ng hustisya. Yet every step I take toward vengeance... Eimi Slyvester, their leader, always stands in my way. Gusto ko siyang hampasin ng sandok sa ganong punto.

She holds me back from crossing a line I might never come back from. But why? Does she truly want to stop me... or does she know I have every power to bring her down, just as her group brought down the person I loved most?

〝Tell me more about this girl who stays by your side,〞Eimi said softly one afternoon, her gaze fixed intently on me. 〝The one who has always been there.〞

〝Do not drag her into my affairs, Eimi,〞I warned, my fingers curling tight into fists.

〝I am merely asking,〞she replied, though her tone gave nothing away.

And a cold, troubling thought settled deep in my chest: Is she truly curious about Fin... or does she only see someone new to use, just as she once used Clause?
