When The Rain Has Failed.

Ally awoke to the sound of rain hitting the window in her room. Her eyes opened as she realized she fell asleep editing videos at her desk once again. The rain was soft and the noise was soothing to hear. He rubbed her eyes and turned to look at her alarm clock. "3 am" it read. "What am I even doing up? I couldn't have fallen asleep but an hour ago.."
She stood up, letting her chair spin as she did. She walked over to her window and looked outside. The only rain you could see through the fog was around the street lamp. She smiled and as she was about to turn around she saw a small blue light appear on the driveway.
She was intrigued and very tired. She decided to check it out now rather than see if it was gone tomorrow. She threw on a raincoat over her YouTube shirt and pulled up her baggy purple pajama pants in hopes of not dragging them in the rain.
She opened her door and walked down the stairs to reach her front door. She looked out the door and couldn't tell what was under the shining blue light or understand why nobody else was outside looking at it. She figured it was because it was three o'clock in the morning, which made sense to her.
She grabbed a black umbrella and walked outside. She walked over to the light, but the closer she got the dimmer it got. When she was right next to it the light stopped all together and a rolled up piece of paper appeared. It wasn't wet at all, to Ally's surprise, as she picked it up and read...
