Indy Hargrave, the long-suffering eldest daughter of her family, has lived in Colorado for all sixteen years of her life, and every one of them sucked. Big dreams are no place for a small town, and she has too many responsibilities to focus on herself. She has a sucky job, four whiny younger siblings, a mom who's always working, a dad who's never around, an awesome car, and a stupid legal first name. Seriously, who names their kids after paint swatches?

For sophomore year, she has three goals: join a sport for every season, get a promotion at work, and knock the block off a Walter boy. Technically, her third goal is to stay on top of school, but only when she's talking to adults. Teenagers are the worst, and she would know. Especially those Walter kids. She has enough problems to deal with already.

She's too young to feel this old.

author's note: i really hate ai. that's why all the schlock i write is one hundred percent made by man, my own freak brain, and of course my peculiar friends. actually, this fic is "commissioned" by a friend of mine, which is why it's for a show i'd typically overlook in favor of a horror movie. i am expanding my horizons. everyone please clap.
