Before answering the message, I stalked his instagram page, no posts, no highlights, just a pfp staring at me, "dah ngga yah finee tho", I bit my lips and smiled. I spotted a Merkz song in his bio. "Hmmm, him seem so familiar tho".... "From mi see a Merkz song yasso, mk dah mn yah a smaddy wid sense" I said laughing. I didn't reply just yet as I was too excited to leave work. When I peeked at the time it was now 5:30. I grabbed my stuff, forced them into my handbag and dashed through the door. You must be thinking I have something important to do at home. No! I don't. Except to full my belly and sleep. "Mi a save fi mi bimma so mi tek bus Ina the mean time" I sighed.
When I stepped through the door, I realized that he sent another message .

Same time mi remember seh mi neva ansa him, after we started texting, I finally realized where he was familiar from. He was once dating a girl I wasn't fond of. The more we spoke, it felt like he was not the person I thought he was. He was actually a sweet person but I knew I couldn't drop my guard too quick. We texted practically the whole night. We talked about past relationships, things we take a liking in, things we enjoy and a little about ourselves. It was about 11 pm in the night and we decided to go on voice call, we exchanged numbers and switched to WhatsApp. We started the call and it was about 3 am when I decided I was going to sleep.

As the sun peaked through the window and woke me up, I stretched like I was just in hibernation. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready for work, I was so tired, by the time I finished getting ready it was around 10 am, it was already too late for me to go to work so I called in sick. I went back to the bathroom to take off my work clothes and I slipped right back into my Sym clothes as I melted into the couch to watch my favorite series 'Law & Order SVU'.
It's been about an hour so I checked my phone, "Oops" I stared at the many missed calls from Ty. I totally forgot I was now speaking to someone.

"Ago call him back, hopefully him nuh ansa so mi can go back to watching mi show" I did, and he answered on the first ring, I love talking to him tho so it's okay. We were on voice call, we talked about so many things, how our first date would be like, where we'd go, and how much we enjoyed the call last night.
Ty: "So Wah mek uh nuh go work bbz?"
A weh him a try do, bouh bbz, we dvn deh yet.
"Mi wake early but mi Js couldn't badda, did too tired after dah call deh last night"
Ty: "Mek mi see uh" "A bay sym clothes mi ave on rn ino" I laughed

We switched the call to Video call.

We stayed on the call for a few hours when he said he has to hang up now but he wants us to meet in person. I agreed but I ensured to tell him I'm a very busy person so I won't be available all the time.

I was on call with my best friend Lia telling her about this ngga I JUST met but had a strong feeling about. He was just so mysterious, it kinda made me wanna get to know him even more.
