Heyy!! So . . . I read a lot of Lloyd x reader fanfics. Like, a lot. It's probably concerning, but, lol whatever, just roll with it! So I decided - I need to make my own! 😋😋😋

For this reason, if you have made a Lloyd x reader or just a Ninjago fanfic, and there's something in here that looks extremely familiar . . . I swear I didn't mean to steal your idea or anything - my subconscious probably decided that a part of your plot had to be a part of my story. So, if you see something like that, leave a comment. I can take it out probably, if you want, or just give you credit or something. Or I'm just stressing and this isn't a problem I need to address at all, lol!

This is gonna be like a cross between the movie Lloyd and the series Lloyd. I've watched them both, and they are both amazing! I'll probably just use the concept of secret identities and whatnot, but make it so that we still have original plots n' stuff, like all the different seasons. Because I'll probably need to talk about some of the seasons at one point. Also, I will not be using the movie's plot, but I will be using some characters and ideas from the movie.

Lloyd is pretty . . . um . . . traumatized. But it's okay, because you, as the reader, are also traumatized! That makes you guys so perfect together, because what better way is there to bond than trauma (and also food?)???

So, the reader is you! Except Y/n in this story is mostly based on my personality + extra trauma! Y/n is very bookworm-y! She is a nervous, shy gal. She is also rated 0-1 out of 10 in survival skills because . . . because that's fun! 😁 Basically – her dad kind of died when she was 7, and then her mom decided that it is too hard to be a single parent when Y/n was 8, so Y/n's mom abandoned Y/n on the streets (I'm sorry if your mom is amazing, mine is too - but this is character building right here, yayy!) And the person who saved Y/n off the streets was . . . Mystake! She's too cool, ya'll! She had to be in this story. (If you don't remember who this is,she's a lady who is actually an Oni, and she also is super duper old. She sells tea to Master Wu on multiple occasions, and then becomes extra important in Season 8: The Sons of Garmadon) This fanfic starts after Season 10: March of the Oni. This means that Mystake is dead, because she died in Season 9. I'm sorry that y'all don't get to see the relationship dynamic between Y/n and Mystake, but I'm trying to give Y/n trauma! Maybe there'll be some flashbacks. Y/n inherited the tea shop, as it was rebuilt after Hunted? I think? But yeah.

So, Y/n has a tea shop, three dead or missing parental figures, and self-worth problems because she used to be bullied! She is also currently 18 at the start of this - halfway through her senior year at Ninjago. And by she, I mean you! Because this is you and La-Loyd, falling in love while being traumatized. OOH, and one more detail - you are physically 18, as is Lloyd. I think that makes him mentally 14? However, for the sake of this fanfic and this not being one of the weird relationships that random freshman or middle schoolers have, we will say that he is as emotionally mature as an eighteen-year-old. Because, be so for real, this is Lloyd. He may act like a child sometimes, but he grew up (and glowed up) too fast. And YOU, my friend, have been living in a magical tea shop since you were 9! (Yes, you lived on the streets like the homeless child you were for like 8 months. That's why no one knows why you have no survival skills! Because you really should, but whatever, it's chill). You can't have thought that I was going to let a certain 14-year-old blondie date an eighteen-year-old . . . that's immoral!! No, no, you see . . . when you were twelve, you swallowed an entire tea packet. I don't know how you survived, tbh. That's not healthy. And then you looked in the mirror and realized - "Help, I look 15!"

So, yeah, that's it for the description - sorry it's so long; I rant a lot. Hopefully you like it!!
