Love—does it truly hurt us or do we just not know how to love people we claim to care about?
As humans,we often choose the brighter sides of things over the darker one.
We lean toward withe instead of balck, heaven instead of hell, and comfort instead of truth.
Yet,we rarely ask:why do we make these choices precisely?
You may call yourself a lover but perhaps you're just afraid of being alone.
Loving isn't just about showing affection, the real love requires honesty and caring, without disguising your real feelings.
So how could Seraphina ever know whether her family's love had been real, or merely something they had learned to imitate?
To her, the answer had become painfully obvious.
The family that once claimed to love her no longer existed.
Her mother had disappeared to the other side of this miserable world, as she called it, marrying a wealthy old man without caring whether her own daughter was dead or alive.
And after the divorce, her father remarried.
A woman so cruel that even Lucifer himself could not rival her malice.
Her daughter, Anastasia, was no different—a smaller, colder reflection of the evil woman who raised her.
What if Seraphina Fernández were to meet Rafael Romanov?
Would the angel lose herself to a man made of darkness, and what kind of destiny would such a meeting bring upon them both?
Author's note:
This is my very first story, and I poured many emotions into it.
Every character carries pain, secrets, and flaws that shaped them into who they are.
I hope you enjoy Seraphina's journey as much as I enjoyed creating it.
