Nicole was the quiet, but loving type, a pushover, an angel child, she had been since birth. That's probably why she didn't have an education until seventeen.
Nicole walks into her new classroom and sits in the second row, closest to the door, before two girls walk in and stop next to her. They go to speak, but the teacher interrupts. "Girls, this is Nicole. She's a new student, I hope you dont mind her sitting with you."
"Of course not, I'm Marinette!" The blue-haired girl says as she sits down, the brown-haired girl smiles as she too sits. "Alya", she says as she grabs her textbook from her bag.
The three talk during class, which causes the teacher to shush them a few times.
Lunch comes quickly, and the three join the rest of their friends before walking to the cafeteria and grabbing lunch.
"Everyone, this is Nicole! Shes new, so be nice," Marinette says to the friends sitting at their table. Over walks a blonde-haired, green-eyed boy, Adrien. "Adrien!" Marinette blushes and smiles, "How are you?"
"I'm good, thank you, Marinette"
"This is Nicole, she's new", Marinette points to Nicole with a smile.
"I know", he replies
"How?"
"She and her brother live with me. My father took them in a few weeks ago." Adrien looks at Nicole with love in his eyes, the same way Marinette looks at Adrien.
"Oh, Nicole, you never mentioned a brother?" Alya says
"Yeah, his name is Luka, he's like, literally my best friend." Marinettes eyes widened as this was said, "Luka..? like, blue-haired, music-loving, guitar-playing Luka?"
"Yes, do you know him?" Nicole replies,
"Looks like your brother is Marinettes' boyfriend", Alya teases.
The group giggles together, as someone at another table listens to this conversation. She walks over and taps Adrien on the shoulder. "Adrien! Long time no see!"
They all turn around, "Lila?!" Marinettes' voice is shocked and a little yuck. "Hey Lila, how have you been?" Adrien hugs the girl, "I've been travelling for a while now. Did you not get my letters?"
"No.. Father must have taken them. I'm sorry, Lila"
"Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?" Marinette breaks the two apart.
"Lila is my sister, Marinette, you know this, I've told you before."
Marinettes' eyes widen, "Okay." She replies, defeated, and takes her lunch tray, throwing it in the trash before leaving the cafeteria.
Nicole, Luka, Adrien and Lila all walk home together. "Luka, when were you gonna tell me that you're dating Marinette?"
Luka looks at his sister, "You already knew"
"No, I didn't, you dick."
"I talk about her all the time!"
"You never told me her name, even when I asked! I only knew she was dating you, which was a little shocking."
Luka doesn't reply with words; he just smirks as they get home.
