Digimon Frontier: The Legend of the Digital Warriors

Chapter 1: All Aboard!

       " 'To decide your future'...?" said a boy with chocolate brown hair and eyes, wearing a hat where he keeps his goggles, running down the streets. "Here!" said a man who was playing soccer with his son outside. "Papa!" the man's son said as he passed the ball back to his dad. "Yes, hello?" the dad said getting distracted by the phone and letting the ball keep rolling. The chocolate brown hair boy continued to run seeing the ball go past him, causing him to try and get it. As he finally reached the ball a truck he didn't see made his way towards him as he kicked the ball back to the dad and kid. As the driver was on a call he noticed the boy and hit the brakes. "I-is this... My... future?" the boy said as he looked at the truck.

*Flashback*

       "Eh? You'll be late? But it's Shinya's birthday!" the brown haired boy's mom said on the phone. "Tell him to come home soon!" the boy's little brother said as he read a book. "And shinya's present? Takuya, stop that, " the boy's mom said as she noticed her son about to take a strawberry from her younger son's cake. "Oh, so did you buy one?" Takuya's mom continued through the phone. "Boring... Let's just hurry up and eat" Takuya said as he ate the frosting he had gotten on his finger while trying to get the strawberry. As he finishes licking the frosting off his finger he gets a message.

       "Hey, phone call! 'Would you like to start? Or not?' What's this?" Takuya said as he read the message he got and clicked yes. "Takuya Kanbara. The game to decide your future has started" a female voice said, causing Takuya to look around in confusion before picking his phone up. "H-how do you know my name? 'Please take the train from Jiyugaoka Station to Shibuya at 5:45' "Takuya read a new message. 'To decide your future', huh...' Takuya thought after looking at a clock and then back at his phone. "Alright" Takuya said as he took his hat off the chair he was sitting on. "Okay, understood. But come home as soon as you can, okay? Takuya, where are you going?" Takuya's mom said as she noticed him leave the house.

*Present time*

       "To decide my future..." Takuya said before reacting and dodging the truck that was about to hit him. "H-hey!" the man driving the truck said as he got off the car as Takuya got up and looked at his phone. "Alright! Excuse me, what time is it?" Takuya said as he turned to look at the truck's driver. "It's 5:40, but..." the driver said as he looked at his watch before looking back at Takuya. "Oh, no!" Takuya said as he started running at full speed, not looking back. "Hey, are you okay?" the driver said as he watched Takuya run away. Takuya kept running, dodging and trying not to trip people as he reached the station. "Gotta hurry!" Takuya said as he turned the corner looking up at the station's clock.

       "Oh no, the train is here!" Takuya said as he ran towards the ticket machine. "I didn't bring any money!" Takuya said as he hit his head on the machine, not noticing that the lights in it were turning on and giving him a ticket. "A ticket? Lucky!" Takuya said, taking the ticket and scanning it on the scanners as he ran up the stairs. "I'm getting on, I'm getting on!" Takuya said as he got on the train. As he stood in the train's door he leaned his back on it, catching his breath as another message was sent to his phone as well as other people's phones, to which almost everyone ignored.

       As Takuya looked around his eyes landed on a boy with dark blue eyes, shoulder-length black hair tied up in a low ponytail, a blue bandanna on his head with dark grey stripes, a blue jacket with yellow stripes on the sleeves over a yellow T-shirt with a blue neckline and sleeve trimmings, grey pants that end at his ankles, long blue socks, and white sneakers with blue stripes. A girl with aurora crystal blue eyes, long dirty blonde hair half down, half up in two pigtails tied up with black ribbons, white long sleeve off the shoulder shirt with two thin straps tied behind her neck to hold it up, blue jean shorts, black and white striped knee length socks, a light blue purse with a keychain and a crescent moon on it, a green bracelet and black boots.
