"Naeun!! Come quick!!", I heard my twin calling me.
It was the graduation day of high school. Last day of us being a high schooler. I'm gonna miss all these faces I've spend time with for the past three years.
"Oh yeah I'm coming", they were there for a group pic.
I slip between my twin and bestie Jiwoo for the picture.
Jiwoo and I have been friends since middle school. Other than my twin Nahyun, she's the one who knows me up close.
And Click!!
And just like that, a moment of our high school life was sealed into something we could never return to.
After bidding goodbyes and wishing good lucks to all my friends, me, Jiwoo and Nahyun headed back for our homes as well.
"So.... University it is then?", Jiwoo said.
"Yes! A new segment!", I replied.
"What are you gonna take?", Jiwoo asked.
"And what about clubs Naeun?", Nahyun added.
"I'm going with Psychology with my major. And about the clubs...I think I'm not much interested in those things but I'll see through it.", even though I don't feel like being in a club, the University I'm joining might have rules to be mandatory for students join clubs.
"What about picking up what you left? What about v-?"
I knew where it was going so I cutted her off.
"No Jiwoo. I think I'm fine with what I left. It's all in the past now.", I assured.
They both sigh at the same time.
"Psychology it is then?", Jiwoo tried to changed the topic.
"Yes! Psychology it is" I said firmly.
"But Naeun...why Psychology?" Nahyun asked.
"I don't know. The subject just feel like me.", that was my honest answer. I didn't know myself why I chose it.
It just felt like....me.
He shrugged giving me a look saying "whatever you say"
"Okay then, we'll be splitting here. I'll miss you both so much. Don't forget to update me with your Uni life", Jiwoo said hugging me
I smiled and hugged her.
The three of us went for a group hug. It was held for a little longer than usual. None of us trying to let go.
We were standing there for about 10 minutes.
"Guys?", Nahyun started.
"Hmm?", me and Jiwoo hummed in response.
"Don't you think we should really leave now?"
We broke into a laughter and broke apart.
On the way till home, Nahyun didn't bring back the topic again. And I really appreciate him for that.
Soon we reached home, and we were welcomed by the aroma of dishes Mom made.
"Ah you both are back? Get change, food is ready."
"And also call your father too on the way"
"Okayyyee", we said in sync.
After getting changed in comfortable clothes, we sat down for the meal.
"Thank you for the meal", we thanked in unison.
"So how was your graduation day? Already missing your friends?", Dad asked.
"Not yet", Nahyun answered with food full in his mouth.
The conversation continued from topic to topic and it was not forced which is why I like it.
"You both must be exhausted, finish your food and get to bed early", Mom suggested.
We finished our food and went to our rooms.
It was a very long and memorable day indeed.
And yes, I was very exhausted. So exhausted that I didn't even realise when I fell asleep.
P.S. This is my first time writing. So please spare me some grammar and vocabulary mistakes.
Also, curios about what Jiwoo was talking about?
