After Moon heard about what Monty told him, he went outside to get some fresh air, Carmine was by the entrance, Moon immediately spotted him and walked up to him

Moon: What are you doing here? I thought you left with Joy and Dahlia

Carmine simply looked and moon and sighed

Carmine: I decided to stay behind a bit because there is something I need to talk to you about

Moon got nervous, he thought something bad happened or will happen, but he let Carmine talk

Carmine: Moon, this is something serious and something I've been wanting to ask you..

Carmine stayed silent for a couple of seconds then fully turned to Moon

Carmine: Ive liked you for a while now, probably since I tried to help with Titan, I honestly thought it just I was stressed or something but looking more deeper into it, I realized I have a crush on you, it's okay if you dont like me back, I understand if you want to keep distance, I just needed to say it. I love you, Moon.

Moon looked speechless, and even blushed a bit, he was surprised Carmine even liked him or anyone but he smiled and hugged him

Moon: thank you for your honesty, Carmine. I can give you a chance

Carmine was surprised but hugged Moon back and wrapped his tail around him

Carmine: thank you, Moon. I'll be the best partner to you.

Moon: I know you Carmine, I know you will.

They stayed hugging for 1 minute before Moon pulled away

Moon: you should go now, it's getting late and the others might be confused or worried why you aren't at the Haven

Carmine: Oh yea, bye Moon

Carmine quickly kissed moon on the cheek and walked away
Moon got flustered but brushed it off and walked back inside

Monty: so uh, you guys are finally a couple

Moon: Gah! - okay.. How long have you been looking outside?!

Monty: enough to see you and Carmine hugging

Moon: dont mention it around the others

Monty: Ill try.

Monty teased Moon about the situation all the way till went got back home.
