Trapped in a dream, surrounded by darkness as it follows us like a newborn follows its mother. But who will ever guess that silence was the major key to our existence. It was the reason that brought us to become the darkness greatest friend and the light worse enemy. This one thing that brought us strongly together, but also tore us apart. Desperate for changes while wanting to be alive but many questions, til this day go unanswered. Living this fantasy life as you can say. Stuck with many questions and not enough answers. In this world we're challenged by our worse fears. Having to face them, dream about them, live with them. A wiser person will run away from danger, but for us, danger is what makes us, us. The thing that challenges every fear muscle in our body that waited to come out, but for me it was just a new start on the journey to nowhere.
Black supposedly the main color in this dark clan. To them it symbolized differences, sadness, meaning, structure, death, fearless, but to me it symbolized hate, desperate for understanding, alone, and your true self. Aldo they try so hard to hide it, but I know what they fear the most inside of each one of them. They fear something that every human has a right to fear. That every animal that gets hunt down for meat fear, every insect that get squash for being themselves, the deaths of innocents. They feared the world itself. Afraid that they'll never be accepted as whom they are. Afraid of judgment and guilt of been alive. But I believe that their main fear was themselves. Fearing that this place will become them, that they will end up like everyone else. Every normal or awkward person that walk this uncompleted world, this disaster we really call home. This world that we was told is one but became many. Many who follow their own laws, many who kill to make sure their laws are followed. Many who are too blind to see that this world is not complete, it'll never be complete until we learn to accept each other as one.
But that's another story. So on and so forth, like everyone else we're here and nothing can change that. We come here to live, but living will be a risky task to fulfill because we are called the demons by our neighbors, the none believers by our family and the destroyers by the ones that was once our friends.
Soya, You Do Not Belong
Being a 8th grader means that you're in the middle of an adult and a kid. Even if you want to believe you are growing up, you still need a little of your kid side to become something you might always dream of. Being a 8th grader also meant that it is time to say goodbye to middle school friends, teachers that gave you knowledge, and also things that you're going to miss most about it. But for Soya(so-ou-ya) none of that existed, well except the knowledge part. She didn't really have any friends because she is considered weird in many ways, a disaster for perfection, awkward and mostly lonely. No one wanted to be her friend except Brandon in which his parents put him in a all boys school. Him and her known each other since they was kids and he's always been supportive of her. She wasn't popular only nerdy but he didn't mind. Soya wore glasses and always wore long dresses that passes her ankles, long socks, hair is always tied up, socks all the way up and she always join every school club that she find but really all she really wanted to do was to fit in although the most she gets from problem is when they ask her to help them with their homework. Everyday before school she tells her self that she will make friends even if it kills her and if first you do not succeed, try and try again. There is only two more weeks of school left so if she wants to do this she has to do it now before school starts. She thought it wouldn't matter if they tease her for trying to fit in since school almost over. At least she tried and that's all that matters. When walking down the hall she notice her classmate ginger in the hall way hanging out with her friends and boyfriend. They was consider the middle popular people in school and Soya knew if she can get into their crowd then she would no longer be a no one. That's when she walks up to them.
