In the middle of the sea, 3,000 miles away from home, Nora sat in a cold, damp, leaky ship. Nora was cold, and hungry, dressed in nothing but thin, dirty rags. Being taken as a hostage wasn't great, and Nora was bored out of her mind, but it gave her time to think about the events that led her up to this. She had been kidnapped from her home in Los Angeles, taken across many states and now Nora guessed she was somewhere in the ocean, but she didn't know which it was. She had been here for how long now? Days? Weeks? She couldn't have been on this ship for more than 3 months. Her thoughts were interrupted when suddenly, the hatch door opened and light was in the room. A young man was thrown in. He looked about the same age as Nora. He was thin and had shaggy hair.

"HEY! YOU CAN'T KEEP ME LOCKED DOWN HERE!" the man yelled, scrambling to get back up, tripping over his own feet.

"Save your breath," Nora muttered. "No use now,"

"Excuse me? Who are you? Don't you know who I am?" The boy yelled at her.

"A rich brat who doesn't understand how the real world works, because you've been given everything you could ever ask for, on a silver platter?" Nora asked, mindlessly messing with her clothes.

"Why! I never!" The man exclaimed. "That is very rude, young lady!"

"Young lady?" Nora scoffed. "Please, dude, we're probably the same age. I'm Nora, and you are...?"

"Prince Leo,"

"Alright Leo,"

"That's Prince Leo," he corrected.

"Yeah...no. I'm calling you Leo," Nora said.

"Well that works too Nora," Leo muttered. "I guess," Then a wave hit the ship, causing Leo to fall over onto his back. Nora stayed perfectly still, as if the rocking ship didn't affect her.

"You have some sort of super power?" Leo asked, trying to stand back up.

"No, just used to it," Nora said with a shrug.
