After her family was murdered by pirates just for fun, Ashira vowed to become the strongest of them all, to never again be defenseless and have to watch as her loved ones were murdered. Thus, The Reaper was born.
Marines wanted to catch her, pirates wanted to be her, landies wanted her gone. She was the ghost story of the world, the threat to get your kids to fall asleep. She killed whoever she deemed unworthy of life, ransacked entire marine bases, and destroyed anyone who got in her way. Trained by the best of the best, the masked woman who once could barely lift a sword became the strongest sword-wielder in the world. Even the great Dracule Mihawk bowed down when her menacing, simple boat crossed his path. The Marines were too angered to accept her as a Warlord of the Sea, so she carried on as the pirate with the largest bounty in the world.
And yet, despite her fame and invincibility, no one knew the true her. That is, until an innocent boy with a straw hat comes her way, and despite her better judgment, she finds herself finally finding a family. And maybe somebody else, who could mean even more.
