  "This is Janice Taylor, reporting."

The television flickered, its light the only thing cutting through the dim gray of the room, the prices of gas has been increasing significantly this year, no one dared to waste fuel.

"...our mines are declining," The anchor’s voice cracked, fear evident in her eyes, I turned the volume down, "The demand has surpassed our dwindling supply. As of now, neighboring nations have enacted a total embargo on fossil fuels, specifically petroleum and gasoline."

"We advice everyone to fill their tanks with fuel and replace your energy sources with solar." The anchor paused slightly, and looked at the camera.

"This upcoming June, we will commence the scheduled blackouts. It is the government's and our duty to preserve our resources for the future generations." She continued.

"Together, we will serve our Country and our Land! Your voices is our command!" I turned it off, silence enveloped the room.
