Chapter 3: He Can Sing?

"Hey Lauren! Wait for me!" a voice called.

I turned it was Louis.

"Oh, hey Louis!" I said.

He was wearing red jeans and a striped top with his hair brushed to the side.

"Can I walk with you to school?" he asked smiling at me.

"Sure!"

"Have you ever heard of the X Factor?" Louis asked.

"Yeah! It's a really good show!"

"Oh cool. I might be entering it this year, my mum thinks I'm good enough but I'm not so sure" Louis said, with his eyes concentrating on the ground.

"Louis! That is so cool! I'm sure you're a great singer!" I exclaimed.

"Really? You've never heard me" he muttered.

"Well, sing I guess!" I said as I smiled at him.

"Well okay!"

He started singing:

I consider it a challenge before

My mouth dropped open. He was amazing! Well better than the crap on the radio.

Louis smiled "What did you think?"

"Louis! You're incredible" I said as I threw my arms around him.

"Really? Thanks!" he squeezed me tight.

As we let go from the hug, we looked into each others eyes, his beautiful blue ones into my green ones, he started to lean in.

"Lauren! Get your ass over here, now!" It was my friend June.

I suddenly pulled back "Okay...Bye Louis" I said awkwardly.

"Bye" he mumbled.

I ran up to June. She had a smirk on her face "Who was that?" she asked.

"My friend Louis"
