Prologue
What they whispered to themselves

FAHREEN~
I smile at him. The man who holds my heart ever since we were kids. We enter the campus hand in hand, entwined. Just like our lives.

JENNIFER~
I knock on the door praying to God that I have a nice roommate. When he opens the door, my jaw thuds to the floor. Nice is an understatement.

KIA~
I walk in scrolling through my website before giving the side lock. Afterall in these walls I'm not a vigilante. That part comes out only after dusk.

IRA~
I smile the girl next to me and she shoots me a look. They say kill them with kindness. Maybe she died because if it.

LILY~
I enter the assembly and in an instant my lands on that stranger. Tousled hair, sharp jaw and eyes. Those damn eyes, I fall...

MARY~
My BFF texts me tht he is here and my heart races. I've been in love with him since forever. But is it worth to ruin the friendship.?

NANCY~
My eyes skim over the parade of designer stuff and my knee jerk reaction is to shrink. I won't. I have something They don't. A heart.

DAPHNAE~
I sign my name on the president candidate application. A Man signs next and smirks. I smile. I know I'll win afterall.

KAREN~
The view of the university steals my breathe. Its beautiful yet intimidating.
Let's hope the people here are nice.

AZISHA~
I'm panting from my run. I take a few swings of water hoping go calm my racing heart. The traitor speeds up again bur for a different reason altogether.

AFITAA~
Shock.it overtakes me as I enter the homeroom and stare at the nameless man I left last night. But he's not nameless anymore. He is Mr.Hover, my homeroom freaking teacher.

PFRECY~
My mom shoots me a disapproving gkare at my outfit. I know I'm a girl. But not all girls run around in ribbons and laces.

DAYA~
Entering the gate feels like success. I worked my ass off to belong here. Damn if I give up my position.

IZAEL~
I stand infront of the gate and get I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, like a pair of eyes us dissecting my soul.

JO~
It feels so surreal to be among these people. Terrifying and exciting all at once. I feel tht this place is going to shatter my shell.

KARA~
I ignore my latest conquest ans get ready. The say dress to impress. Guess what bitches? I dress to Slay.

YURA~
I force myself to smile at the passerby. But my heart dives at the prospect of losing the family's legacy. I want to save it, but at what cost.?

JAN~
I stand tall. Fear will lead you nowhere but courage, it will lead you to the places that only existed in your dreams. Or, nightmares.

LUNA~
I step out if the car. This is it. Today, I'm Luna- the student. Not the princess. Atleast I hope so.
