Expect the unexpected

On my Sophomore year. I met a guy named Carlo. After 10 months, I went to single in to a relationship. I dated Carlo.

After our monthsary he broke up with me for no good reason.

I got my heart broken again.

After one month...

I was at school with my girl friends, we were walking at the corridor when my friend Ray called me.

"Sherlain!" he shouted. "Sherlain, my friend Pom wants to court you."

I didn't replied, I just walked in silence 'till we got to our room. Then I told Chelle what had happened a while ago.

"Chelle! Ray told me that Pom wants to court me!" I said excitedly.

"Oh! Really?" she said.

"Hmm, should I entertain him? What if he is not serious?" I said with doubt.

"Just don't take him seriously." Chelle's opinion.

After that, the conversation ended.

I was smiling the whole day, recalling what Ray had said. It's because when I was a Freshman, I had a crush on Pom. I didn't expect that this day will come.
