The Potter house was unusually quiet that evening. A fire crackled in the hearth, filling the sitting room with a warm glow, but the air was tense. James Potter sat in his favorite armchair, hands clenched around his tea cup, staring into the flames. Across from him, Lily swirled her own tea, her calm exterior barely hiding her worry. Harry was at Hogwarts, immersed in his fourth year, and the quiet of the house only made the absence of their son and the absence of news from Toni more noticeable.

Sirius Black sprawled across the couch, legs dangling, eyes sharp despite his laziness. Remus Lupin, ever the watchful one, sat upright in the armchair beside the fireplace, book open in front of him, though he hadn't read a word.

"So..." Sirius began, twirling a goblet of pumpkin juice, "any word from Toni?"

Remus shook his head, sighing. "Nothing. Weeks. And the Muggle world... it's impossible to track. Papers, broadcasts—useless. No one knows where she is."

James slammed his fist on the arm of the chair. "We protected her in school. We made sure no one hurt her. And now she just vanishes without a word?" His eyes flashed with anger. "I swear, if anything has happened..."

Before he could finish, the room erupted with a burst of orange light. The air shimmered and warped, like reality itself had fractured. Sirius and Remus leapt to their feet, wands drawn, and Lily instinctively stepped in front of James.

From the swirling light, a single piece of parchment floated down, glowing faintly. Remus caught it.

"If you want to know what has happened to Toni since the end of school, go to Hogwarts. – A Friend"

James's fists clenched so hard his knuckles turned white. "No discussion. No delays. We go now."

Remus groaned. "Honestly, James, sometimes I think your idea of 'protective' equals 'completely unhinged.'"

Sirius shot him a grin. "Come on, Moony, admit it, you'd be running through fire to save her too."

James's green eyes were alight with fury. "Then we don't just walk. We storm the castle."

Breakfast at Hogwarts was supposed to be peaceful. The Great Hall buzzed softly with chatter, the smell of bacon and toast drifting through the air. Harry sat across from Ron and Hermione, spooning porridge into his mouth while trying not to glance at the Slytherins smirking across the hall. That calm shattered in an instant.

The enchanted doors burst open with a thunderous crash. Three figures, glowing faintly with residual apparition magic, stormed into the hall. James Potter, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin moved as one, like a hurricane had taken human form. Wands were raised, fists clenched, and eyes blazing with fury.

"WHERE IS SHE?!" James shouted, voice echoing across the hall.

Sirius barreled forward behind him, nearly knocking over a table of first-years. "TONI STARK! IF ANYONE..."

Remus's voice cut sharply through the chaos, calm but deadly in its intensity. "We protected her at school! And now someone's hiding her?!"

The students froze. Forks hovered mid-air. Plates slid off tables. A tray of toast toppled, scattering across the floor. Professor McGonagall appeared at the staff table, wand raised, eyes wide. "Potter! Black! Lupin! What on earth..."

James waved her off, not listening. "No time for words! Where is Toni?!"

Sirius swore under his breath, scanning the hall like a wolf hunting. "We're not leaving until we find her. No one's keeping Toni from us!"

Remus, shaking his head, muttered under his breath, "I told you this was a terrible idea... but at least we're honest about it."

Then, through the stunned silence of the hall, more figures walked in from the main doors. Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy entered first, both looking cautiously at the chaos, followed by Regulus Black, Sirius's younger brother, carefully maintaining a neutral stance, and then the Weasleys, their expressions a mix of exasperation, alarm, and mild amusement.
