Prologue
The man ran, erratically and frenzied, down the alleyway, his boots splashing through dirty puddles.
"Gotta get away. Gotta get away from that...thing!"
He hurried down the maze of alleys, trying to shake his pursuer, which was in hot pursuit.
He turned a corner, hoping to find freedom. But it was a dead end.
"NO! No, goddammit, no!"
He attempted to scale the wall at the end, but no such luck, it was too high and too damp from this afternoon's rain, and he too out of breath to make anything more than a pathetic attempt at a jump.
"Aw, trying to get away so soon? But we were just starting to have fun!"
He froze, that sing-song Irish voice making his already beating hard heart hammer even harder against his chest.
He turned and faced the abomination in front of him.
"Please! Leave me alone! I have no money! You already killed my girlfriend, what more do you want from me?!"
"Oh, it's not what I want, it's what my friend here wants."
The Irishman moved to the side to let the metallic abomination pass into the area.
Big Ben chimed in the distance. Midnight. The man realised to his horror that this was his end. What a horrifying, nightmarish way to end it all. He closed his eyes and braced himself for the end.
"EXTERMINATE!" The creature screamed hatefully.
The man was dead before he hit the ground.

Just a little prologue in order to set up the story. Can't be too hard to guess who these characters are.
