It was just any normal day in the palace Honami did all her tasks as usual until head maid Shizuku came up to Honami.

Shizuku: "Mrs. Mochizuki."

Honami jumps letting out a "eeep!!" immediately turning around "Y-yes?"

Shizuku: "Since Mrs. Yoisaki isn't here, we need you to take on her role of making lunch for the knights."

Honami: "I'll get to it right now!!" Honami said hurrying to the kitchen, Shizuku smiles softly knowing Honami's always quick to take an absent maids job.

Honami's mind: "I was gonna watch Akito practice sword fighting again during my resting time but now I have to cook.. No! It's fine if I can help, I should be up to the task!"

Honami finally makes it to the kitchen determined to finish cooking as fast as possible to at least get a glimpse of Akito during practice.

Luckily one of Honami's talents was baking/ cooking so this was quite the simple task. Honami wipes the sweat off her forehead, clearly proud of the feast she made with 10 minutes to clean up and admire Akito from afar.

Honami quickly cleans up, heading out just as Shizuku walks in.

Shizuku: "Oh! Mochizuki, I see you've finished."

Honami nods clearly in a hurry.

Shizuku: "And here I was hoping we could bake apple pies together for the knights." Shizuku knew if Honami heard the word apple pie she would come back right away. Just as Shizuku thought, Honami immediately turned around.

"Just for a bit..?" Honami says sheepishly, Shizuku nods clearly just wanting to cook with Honami for a little.

Akito stretches as he heads out to the Courtyard, grabbing his sword as he looks up.

Akito's mind: "No Mrs. Mochizuki today?" clearly aware that Honami watched him practice on a daily basis, Akito worried for a second but shrugged it off "She's a maid, of course she cant watch me practice everyday.."

Akito didn't know why he was so upset about Honami not being here, so he worked ten times harder to ignore his brain's useless thoughts.

Toya: "Why are you so aggressive today.. Don't tell me you've been going easy on me in the past!"

Akito shakes his head "I'm not being weird, I just wanted to break a hard sweat- you know what forget I'm heading to the Knight Quarters early tonight!" Akito drops his sword and storms out the Courtyard.

Toya stands there for a second trying to understand what he did wrong, but quickly shrugs it off putting away both swords and goes out for a walk.

Once Akito reached the Knight Quarters he threw himself on his bed. "What's up with me today..?" Akito tries to forget about earlier blaming it on Mrs. Yoisaki's strange soup from yesterday.

Time flew by quickly in the kitchen without realizing it. 1 hour had already passed and all the food was ready. Shizuku looks out the window "Oh my! So much time has passed, it seems this will be dinner for knights instead of lunch."

Honami suddenly realizes almost 2 hours have passed since she first came into the kitchen. She tore off her apron and sprinted out of the kitchen, "Sorry to leave you with the dishes, Shizuku!!" Honami knows she'll get scolded for not helping to clean but she can't waste any time!
