Yu Ning truly believed he was just an ordinary husband living an ordinary life.

He woke each morning to Kira's soft breathing beside him, her hair spilling across the pillow like dark silk. She always smiled when she saw him awake — a small, private smile that made his heart flutter.

To him, she was simply:

"That's good. Come sit with us."

She sat beside him, leaning her head on his shoulder.

The staff watching from the balcony trembled.

She just executed five people.

And now she's cuddling.
