One doesn't need words to understand someone's feelings—a single glance into their eyes can reveal everything. I love getting lost in people's eyes, yet sometimes I hesitate, afraid of what I might discover, of losing myself in the depths of a gaze, or of a world without boundaries hidden in their eyes. Sometimes, I wish no one could ever look at me at all. Every look feels like a story waiting to unfold, a secret whisper I'm not sure I'm ready to hear.
Eyes reveal everything, I've realized—the joy, the sadness, the little storms we hide inside. Sometimes, I don't want anyone to meet my gaze; I'm too tired for them to see. But no one ever does. No one truly knows me. They expect me to say I'm broken, to show my pain—but I focus on eyes. Because eyes never lie, even when words fail. Eyes reveal it all, even the parts we try to keep hidden.
And yet, there's a strange comfort in watching, in tracing the flicker of emotions behind a glance, in imagining stories that might never be told. Each pair of eyes I meet is like a doorway, a world I can peek into without anyone realizing. I am alone in this darkness, yet not entirely lonely—because in eyes, I find fragments of connection, small sparks of hope that remind me even in solitude, there is something worth seeing, something worth feeling. And maybe that's enough, for now.
