I stood in the doorway of the most beautiful home I had ever seen, wanting to knock but my Nerves just wouldn't let me. But my cab had already left and my parents wouldn't welcome me back home until I was 'Fixed'. So sending their only daughter to a small town named Forks of all things was their best idea.

You might be thinking 'Violet what was wrong with you.' Well according to my therapist I was reckless, uncontrollable, and a danger to myself and others. But if were to ask me I would say I was fine just a little different from others. Think of it like this everyone sits at a four and I'm at ten all the time.

I broke away from my thoughts as rain began to fall leaving me no choice but to finally knock on the door. It wasn't long until a girl my age and size opened the door, looking way too excited to see a stranger in her doorway.

"Hi, you must be Violet." She said but before I could confirm. I was being yanked through the door. "She's here!" She yelled out while I was trying to remember my manners while dealing with a minor case of whiplash.

"You have a lovely home." I told her as we waited for the others.

"I'm Alice, and its your home now to silly." She said with a twinkling giggle that left me mesmerized. I didn't even know a person could do that. But I wanted to correct her about this being my home, it was temporary.  Just until they realized they couldn't help me just like everyone else. Finally another woman walked through the door with a scowl on her face.

This one was blond and tall reminding me of a model. She had to be the prettiest person I had ever seen. But the scowl gave me the impression that she didn't like that I was here one bit. Me either lady, but here we are.

"Rose! Come meet Violet." Alice said happily, which I was beginning to think was her default setting. But I kinda just wish she would read the room because Rose looked like she ate girls like me for breakfast.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you." I told her while holding out my hand to which he ignored so I awkwardly ran it through my hair instead.

"Well it's just us girls right now. The boys are out and Carlisle is at work." Alice explained. "But I thought we could have a girls day so we could get to know each other."

"Alice, do we really have..." Rose started to say but after seeing the look on her sisters face she changed her mind. "Fine." She huffed out instead.

"You really don't have to do all that for me."

"Oh don't be silly. Now where are the rest of your things?" She asked as she looked around.

"This is it." I told her motioning to the bag at my feet.

"But that can't be it. What about your clothes and oh, your shoes?"

"This is everything I own."

"No, nope, not happening!" Come on." She told me before dragging me back out the door. Rose followed looking slightly amused as she closed the door behind her.

"Where are we going?" I asked as I could be being led to my doom.

"Shopping, silly" She said but before I could protest she shoved into the back seat of a red car and slammed the door. Then she got in the passenger seat looking way too pleased with herself.

The car ride to God knows where wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be. We listened to bad pop music occasionally singing along but ended up laughing by the end. But we also talked and got to know each other. And after telling them why I was here even Rose seemed to be less hostile towards me. She even started talking to me and including me inside jokes they had.
