- Definitely a vampire. He is the only Papa so far that is a vampire so he struggles a lot with this. He spends a lot of time in the Ministry library to find any historical documents or anything that might make him feel less alone.
- He has to go out every night to go feed on blood. If he cannot go out, members of the clergy notice that random members go missing. Perpetua carries guilt over being a murderer, but he needs to do this to survive.
- He is an amazing lover, but he eventually has to drive women he loves away as the urge to bite them becomes too strong.
- He smells like incense and burnt campfire wood with an underlying metallic scent as well. Although he tries to mask anything that might give him away as a vampire.
- Secretly, his brother Copia is his hero. But he will never admit that.
- He has unexplained scarring around the parts of his face that his mask covers. On nights where there is a full moon and he is not wearing the mask, the moonlight will cause the scars to sear with pain.
- He is sensitive to light and burns easily in the summer months.
- He is self conscious of his voice and usually doesn't speak unless spoken to.
- The idea of meeting his brother gives him extreme anxiety -- so he usually finds some sort of excuse to avoid it.
- Due to being a vampire, his body ages slower than the average human. Although he was born in 1970, his physical appearance reflects someone who is between the ages of 28 - 35.
- His childhood remains a mystery as he refuses to talk about it. Ever.
- Harbors silent resentment towards his parents for essentially abandoning him. Also is envious of Copia because he grew up with slightly more stability.

Perpetua loomed silently in the shadowed corners of the ministry. After the conclusion of the Skeleta tour, he was almost never seen or heard. Jokes around the ministry were made that it was more likely to see a ghost than to see Perpetua. The building was quiet. Too quiet. Nothing was going wrong, but since Sister Imperator passed away nothing truly felt right.
Even though he never knew her. He never got the chance. As he passed the darkened hallways, the ones least travelled of course, he tried to imagine her. Then his mind shifted to envy. His brother Copia was known for struggling in his new position as Frater Imperator. Perpetua heard himself in his own mind. "What could have been so difficult? Getting to know our parents before they passed? Not getting killed like our predecessors but instead getting a comfy office job?" Perpetua's pace increased as his mind angrily raced. His dark cape bellowed behind him in a way that made him resemble a large raven. Suddenly, in his whirlwind of envious rumination, a new and much more pressing realization hit him.
Perpetua felt the usual urge come into his mind. Blood. Blood. Blood. His jaw clenched as he tried to stifle the demanding screams in his mind. When he appeared for a brief moment in the kitchen, he would eat very little. The food the ministry had to offer was of fine quality by human standards, but it was his inhuman half that could not be satiated by any food. He needed blood. His senses became hyper aware. He could smell any warm blooded creature within a mile's radius. His eyes became sharp, as the night grew darker his night vision set in. His senses even picking up geothermal signals. He felt the familiar ache in his upper canines. Fangs that desperately fought to emerge. His knuckles turned white as he clutched the dark flowing curtains by the large window he was standing beside. They almost came off the wall as he used them to steady himself. He felt weak. His head pulsed with his increasing heart rate. This moment of sensory overwhelm only briefly interrupted as his ears picked up the soft distinct clicking of high heels against the hard cold floors. He glided away from the window with a sickeningly ominous grace of a demonic predator driven only by instinct.
