As Leah and Trixie were walking into the school hallway, Leah finished telling Trixie the interesting story she had begun earlier. "And THAT is why I swore off Truth or Dare for life," she said finally.
"Really? Well, what if I dared you to kiss me?" Trixie asked playfully.
"Oh, I don't need you to dare me to do that. I'll do that anytime," Leah replied, as they approached her locker.
As Leah was grabbing things out of her locker, Amelia approached them. "Ladies, did you meet the new choir director?" she asked. "He's amazing!"
"Wait; what happened to the other guy, Anthony?" Trixie wondered.
"He moved away," Amelia explained.
"Oh wow, I didn't know that. Any idea where he moved to?" Leah asked.
"No idea, but again no worries. We're gonna be fine. The new director definitely knows his stuff. He can play almost any instrument you ask him to," Amelia explained.
"Well, if he's as amazing as you say, I can't wait to meet him," Trixie said, confidently. "I just hope he's got a good attitude. What?" she asked, when Leah gave her a pointed look.
Later that day, In the school's choir room, all of the students were settling down into their seats,
"Alright, everyone. I am Mr. Harris. I am your new choir teacher," John said, introducing himself.
Some of the students looked at him, thoughtful and curious. "Now some of you might ask, 'any relation to Andre Harris'?" he continued. "And to that, my answer is 'yes'. Andre happens to be my son."
Leah and Trixie's eyes widened upon hearing this information. They shared a quick glance at each other. "I know your son," Leah volunteered.
"Really? You do?" John asked, a bit surprised.
"Yeah. He's married to my adoptive sister, Tori," Leah explained.
"Interesting," John said. "Okay, so as some of you know, the annual Full Moon Jam is upon us. Each of you are going to perform. You can either sing a solo or pair up with someone and do a duet."
"Trixie? Duet?" Leah asked.
"You know it. Your alto voice and my soprano voice make perfect harmonies together," Trixie said.
"Alright. The rest of you, make your decisions and let me know," John told them.
Leah updated her status on TheSlap, which read: "Singing with @TrixieStark for the Full Moon Jam! - MOOD = Excited"
Meanwhile the following Monday, back at the RV, Beck and Jade were hanging out together and spending time with June, who was only a month old.
"How great is this? Our little girl's first Halloween?" Beck asked as he cradled June; the baby yawned, looking as if she was going to fall asleep.
"Yeah, and it's just as well, she's only a month old, so nobody can rope her into bobbing for apples," Jade added.
"Especially since June doesn't have any teeth yet," Beck reminded her.
"Definitely a requirement for that activity," Jade laughed. "But just think, when she does get that first tooth, it'd be one of the many firsts we can cross off our list. Here, let me take her," she said, holding her arms out. "She needs her morning nap."
"I can't wait until we can take her trick-or-treating. Then we could do family costumes," Beck said as Jade took June into her arms.
"And a whole bunch of other firsts," Jade started, making sure that June was feeling comfortable. "I want to be a good mother to June, you know. When she grows up and goes to school, I want her to make friends easily. I know that's ironic coming from me, since a lot of people were once scared to talk to me. But that's only because I chose not to make friends."
"As long as we raise her right, she'll have plenty of friends," Beck said, smiling at his wife.
"And raise her right, we shall," Jade agreed.
