What an odd time of life it is the moment you turn 18. Especially if you're already an oddity of a girl. In this case, overnight, you become an oddity of woman. Still not sure of your own skin, or the stability of your mind. Still not sure which thoughts are good and right. As a young girl you dream of being a woman of grace and poise; a worthy creature to the boys. However, you soon learn, the older you get, the more uncertain life is. There will be very few you meet in your short life-time that will be able to fathom the darkness, the ugly, and the miraculous nature of your brain. It's a common scene in every peculiar, young woman's life, to meet someone you think is part of that few. They'll tell you they love you, that they cherish the parts of yourself, even the parts you try to hide, yet not everyone is a creature of good intentions. There will be times in your life the broken will seek your delicate energy. They will play into your fantasy, and with little notice, take a piece of your heart away the moment you finally feel safe enough to fall asleep in their arms. Strange women are marked for such a fate, for God wrote it into our DNA. However, despite the melancholy that can cast over our skies, I believe God made us for a higher purpose. I am still too young to understand what role is in the cycle of life, death, redemption, and sin, yet I know we were meant for something more. Our fragility, often seen as our greatest weakness, is our greatest strength. It takes a strong person to self-analyze, to reconsider the impacts of their actions and atone for their sins. It takes a soft soul to see the evil in the world, yet still be able to find the beauty in humanity, the art in chaos. When an oddity finally finds a worthy lover, someone who has proven themselves able to connect with them on their wild frequency; the love is divine, supernatural, and the kind of romance many unfortunately will never accomplish. It takes the intertwinement of two deep, sensitive souls to create the magic we read about in fairytales and tragedies. In this vibration, a holy trinity occurs: the oddity, the muse, and the manifestation of their love that reshapes the known reality.
